We liked everything in here especially the amenities like the kimono robes and we are real big fans of the furnishings. Everything was well put together and immaculate. Fabulous toilet and shower too! Lovely staff and near bus stops, very near places of interests, a ramen restaurant and convenience store.

The public bath is so great. I especially love the room!! It is well equipped. The TV is amaaaazing!! You can connect phone to TV to watch movies! Staffs are very nice

Closed to the station and popular sightseeing. Bus to almost places in Kyoto. There is onsen and free ice on 8th floor. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

u need to get all the amenities by urself from the first floor including toothbrushes, cup of coffee and even water… the breakfast cost more than a normal restaurant does… 2200 Japanese yen per persoon…

Room size is great, staff was very helpful helping us in making reservations, breakfast was full of choices. location was great as in a calm area (even if in front of a main road) but within 10 minutes walking distance from alleys and restaurants. Cleanliness was of Japanese standards, spa was good and never too busy.

There is a bathroom with a large bathtub at this hotel ,so we can relax after sightseeing.

I left a pair of trousers in my room and the staff there took them then said they couldn't find them, I am sure they are in the room as I had not changed outside of it but still they refused to give me my belonging thus effectively stealing them. I am very disappointed and was not expecting this from Japan of all places

Spa the rules of being completely naked in a family hotel was a little weird . I have a 9 and 6 year old kids so having them naked would make me feel uncomfortable so we didn't get to enjoy the pool. Also everything was about 25 mins away . Train station was 13 mins away.

Parking! I didn't realize until the day before I arrived that the hotel does not have parking. You have to find a commercial parking place as close as you can, and walk from there. If you want the things like toothbrush and all that hotels usually give, you have to collect them in the lobby and take them up to your room. Not a big deal; just don't forget to grab it, if you want it. The free coffee and tea in the lobby was not good. In the morning as we left, the coffee was hot, but too old and bitter; tea was just hot water.

Location was fine; breakfast seemed a bit expensive, so we didn't take it. They have free coffee and tea in the lobby; but I don't recommend it. The room was fine and well appointed; the large bath on the top floor was pleasant, but not too hot. That was good, because the day was hot, and I wouldn't have wanted a very hot bath. Even though there were a lot of tour groups, the big bath was almost empty. There were several large tour groups checking in, and that made the front desk staff quite busy. However, once we got our room, we didn't see any of the tour groups, nor did we hear them. That surprised me, and I was happy about it. We could open the window a little bit in our room, and I was very happy about that, to get the fresh air.

Even though the hotel is well connected with different bus lines, it is located a bit far from the “Heart of Kioto”: Gion Area. It is like at least a 20 minutes bus ride. The buses do not run the whole night through. So if you miss it, you will have to take a taxi.
