  • TUNE STAY KYOTO Review Score: 8.9

“Very modern looking with a range of facilities such as library, kitchen and laundry. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They can even hold luggage for up to 2 days from luggage transfer. They manage to put our 2 rooms on the same floor and even next to each other.”

  • “It is a basic, simple traditional hotel with friendly staff. The location is convenient, close to the Kyoto station and well connected to the public transport, but not in a busy and noisy street. There is a convenience store nearby.”

  • “Good location, close to the station, the room was clean and had the basics a traveller might need.”

  • Urbain Kyoto Kiyomizugojo Review Score: 8.4

“Clean and nice rooms. Close to everything basically. We enjoyed our stay there very much. Especially I have to mention that the staff is really really nice and helpful with everything.”

  • “Very stylish hotel with lovely staff and a great onsen. Very comfortable room, great location too, just a short walk from Kyoto station.”

  • Kyoto Tower Hotel Review Score: 7.9

“Super helpful and friendly staff, location is ideal for a short stay so you don’t need to carry a bag across the city”

  • Yamadaya Ryokan Review Score: 9.6

“The breakfast was beautiful and tasted very good. One of the top breakfasts of my life. It was very well balanced with nice plating.”

  • M's Hotel Sanjo Omiya Review Score: 8.3

“A good base for a trip to Kyoto. We liked the location & did work to most places, Gion district is about 40 minutes, the Palace only 10 minutes. Rooms were clean with all the basics seeded for a City break. Some good local restaurants & bars nearby.”

  • “The location is excellent, a five min walk from everything. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. It’s a small hotel with only about 20 rooms which was also a bonus. We loved the lounge area where you meet up with friends or just relax after a day of sightseeing and shared complimentary glass of wine or beer. The downside is the rooms are small, but happy to trade that for the lounge.”
