We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Excellent front desk. All staff were amazingly helpful and efficient. They allowed luggage storage when you’re a bit early for check in and will also store luggage after you check out. The young gentlemen was available helping me with the laundry even at midnight. They reminded us to take a hotel umbrella when it is forecasted to snow later in the day. Lots of attention to detail. Room was very clean and comfortable, with amenities- like a microwave, fridge and even a Nespresso machine. Proving croissants in the morning is a nice touch.

United KingdomThe fridge was too cold. I tried to reduce the cold but it didn’t work. My food got frozen.
My room was so cute with the tatami. Microwave was a super plus. And the croissants in the morning a great idea. For ne it was super convenient because very close to my Ikenobo ikebana school. Least but not last the personnel were all very caring and efficient. I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Kyoto.

Espresso, tea, refrigerator in room, croissants every morning delivered to floor. AC, air purifier, excellent bath/shower, WiFi and housekeeping. Stellar front desk staff with good language skills, knowledge of the area, helpful, cheerful. Well designed, efficient, tasteful interior. And washer/dryer!

FinlandThere was a building right behind a window, so my room was kinda dark and didn't get any natural light or a view. That was with great lighting in the room.
Staff was very friendly and ameneties were amazing, full size shampoo and conditioner, even some q-tips and a razor etc. Location next to Nishiki market, and a short walk from subway. Tatami bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Had a good sleep here! Breakfast croissants were also delicious. Would stay here again!

IndonesiaEverything was perfect! The room is spacious compared to other hotels in Japan we stayed at, very clean, and the laundry room is available with detergent provided. The staff are always helpful in answering our questions in English (superb hospitality). Although a bit of a walk from the nearest station, the location is in the centre of the city so it was very easy to walk everywhere, the complimentary croissant was a nice touch too. Definitely will stay here again if we visit Kyoto again.
