Located in Kyoto, a 9-minute walk from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Elite Terrace provides accommodations with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We loved our stay at Gion Elite Terrace. It's perfectly located within walking distance from the train station, restaurants, bars and many of the sites we wanted to visit in Kyoto. It's located on a quite and quaint street. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the coffee bar in the lobby. The staff helped us with restaurant recommendations and reservations. I also love that they are an eco-friendly hotel. I will recommend this hotel to all of our friends planning to visit Kyoto.

Well set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO is located a 14-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 0.7 miles from Sanjusangen-do Temple and a 15-minute walk from... We stayed in the Nogha Suite on the top floor which was HUGE. It was such a welcome change after staying in a Tokyo small city room. The room was modern, yet seemed traditional at same time. We paid extra for included breakfast which was wonderful (lots of food options and beautifully presented). Gym was nice and clean. Public transportation is an easy walk away. We also walked to get to sites (Kiyomizo Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Nishiki Market, Gion geisha district). Lobby bakery was a great place to pick up food to snack on when on the go. Roof-top bar had amazing cocktails, comfortable lounge area and a wonderful night view of lit up Kiyomizo Temple. A few shops and 7-11 located within a few steps away. Would definitely stay here again!

Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is located near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station. Our room was HUGE with a beautiful view of the autumn leaves and river in Kyoto - and super centrally located to a lot of great restaurants and sightseeing spots in Gion. I am still honestly dreaming about the jacuzzi tub - walking 20k+ steps in Japan and being able to soak in the tub was a dream. I was also super impressed by the amenities, I've never been to a hotel that also provides a hair straightener but it was amazing. I loved this hotel so much and was very sad to leave it.

Open from September 2017, The Celestine Kyoto Gion is set in Kyoto, a 10-minute walk from Gion-Shijo Station. Guests can walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple in 15 minutes from the property. Truly beautiful and such exceptional service! The amenities are wonderful and the location couldn’t be more perfect. The breakfast was great and fulfilling with a collection of Japanese and western food. The hotel does a free walking tour around the neighborhood with a local guide every Wednesday and Friday I believe which is such a lovely way to start your visit in Kyoto! Theres also a free shuttle to and from Kyoto station with multiple times every day. The public bath is so great and serene with all the amenities you need in it (towels, hair brushes, face wash/makeup remover, cotton ear buds, lockers to keep your things, a water dispenser, hairdryers, plastic hair covers… etc). Such a wonderful and unforgettable stay truly worth the price!
