Conveniently set in the center of Kyoto, Dusit Thani Kyoto provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness center, free WiFi and a garden. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! Everything was so perfect! The staffs were friendly and thoughtful. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, all the warm welcome, nice hot tea served while check-in, to the staff led us to the room and introduced all the facilities, breakfast area, checking the room temperature for you. They took care of all the details. It was far beyond my expectations. My room was a city view room, but it was way better than I expected. The view was facing a park, and the park had a beautiful maple tree out there and it was red leaves maple tree. What a beautiful coincidence! The zen-vibe room paired with the view, it was perfect. That's what I was looking for during the maple tree season when I visited Kyoto. Breakfast was great. Many choices out there. From traditional Japanese food to Western dishes, everything was tasty. You could also order dishes from the menu if you would like. We also went to the swimming pool, that was really nice too. The water temperature was comfortable, the pool was spacious. It also comes with sauna and a hot water tub, which is great for relaxing. I've recommended Dusit Thani to my friends already. It was a really great experience. I will definitely come back! If I travel to other places where there is a Dusit Thani hotel, I would like to stay and experience it again!

Ideally set in the center of Kyoto, ALA HOTEL KYOTO has air-conditioned rooms, a fitness center, free WiFi and a restaurant. Location's great. Close to station, bus stop and main streets area but still quiet at night. I can see locals walking around there so it's not tourists-centric kinda place, which I like. The hotel's clean, nicely decorated and the room was really cozy. Public bath was fully equipped with everything so I could enjoy the hot spring there. Staffs are extremely nice and communicate in English really well that I was really impressed. 100% come back next time and rcm it to my friends

Well set in the center of Kyoto, Kyoto Umekoji Kadensho is within 1.1 miles of Kyoto Station and 1.1 miles of TKP Garden City Kyoto. The service and staff were exceptional. They are English friendly. The facilities (private onsen, relaxation room) and room were clean and relaxing. I really enjoyed the tatami mats and no shoes in the hotel. There were also free sweets, ice pops, noodles, and drinks at certain times throughout the day which were delicious! At check-in, a pamphlet was provided outlining the location of the facilities and times for each service. I had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel - dinner was a fun experience and breakfast had many options.

Ideally set in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, The Royal Park Hotel Kyoto Umekoji is located a 18-minute walk from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 1.7 miles from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 1.8 miles from... Amazing hotel close to Umekoji station. After being in a smaller room in Tokyo for the previous five nights, The Royal Park Hotel was a welcome reprieve with lots of space, lovely bathroom and seperate toilet, as well as tattoo-friendly public bath. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful too, helped us send our luggage to Kansai airport.
