Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanElevator very very hot. Should be air conditioned. Public amenities on the location. Room is too small. Microwave located behind door in laundry room, and should be in an open space as the hallway with outlet connection. Oversized vending machine in a very conjested space. Need to be downsized.

United KingdomThe space is tiny - felt a bit claustrophobic staying there. Also there’s only one lift and no stairs (except for emergency) and the lift was slow.
Convenience - walking distance to Tsukiji Ginza Laundrette across the road and plenty of places to eat / take away around

KazakhstanSize of the room is pretty small and it feels a little bit suffocating at times. But as soon as I only came to sleep spending most of the time outside exploring Tokyo, that wasn't a big problem
The hotel is located around Tsukiji metro station, which is a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The underground station is a 7-min walk away. Next to the hotel there are two 24-hour shops. The room is not that big but perfectly equipped - tv, air con, hair dryer, fridge, alarm clock is at your use. Cleaning stuff comes every 3 days, but they leave you a bag with fresh towels on a daily basis. It's possible to leave your bags at the reception for a while after check out time if you need that.

United KingdomThe bed was very small for a double bed. It is okay if as a couple you are small people, but if you travel with your friend or siblings or cousins and want to share the bed be aware it is very small. The room was crazily small. It is okay if you want to travel alone. The bathroom was quite small also. Cleaning was so and so because they have a rule according to which they clean only a few days per week and not every day
The location was great, 5-10 mins from different tube stations and very close to some buses. You could even walk to Ginza and Tsukiji. The area was quite but safe, you have a seven eleven in front of you which is great. They provide you with a lot of toiletries which is great.

NetherlandsThe room is very small. Also I had a conflict with the hotel crew. They flushed the potable water system. Probably with chlorine or hadex. So when I requested for drinking water bottles, they said I had to buy it. I work a lot with chemicals, and I know that stuff you should not drink Also the neighborhood is quite boring. Don't recommend it or backpackers

SingaporeTiny room, bad breakfast and horrendous staff at front office
First the check in was horrendous and had to repeat n even wrote on paper the check in n check out date and even provided the confirmation and to check in 1 room took over 25 mins Breakfast was another disappointment n if you are staying longer than 3 nites, opt out from their breakfast as it is not worth the while. Location is another issue, room was tiny and only consolation is the comfy bed. Ask for direction to get to Narita and it took them 2 hrs to provide the information and the lady at reception just walk away without telling me she need to research and advise me. Don’t chose this hotel
