Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe staff was very helpful and courteous. Compared to the other rooms I booked on my Japan trip this seemed like the worst value. It was expensive, but the room was cramped. My daughter and I both thought the pillows were pretty bad, but that's a subjective judgment. Maybe you'll like them! It's also kind of far from a subway station. And our room looked over the river, which was great, but it also overlooked a highway, which was noisy if the window was open for fresh air. When the window was closed it was much quieter, but the traffic noise was still present..

SingaporeHotel location was fairly remote and nearest convenience stores are quite a distance away. Compared to other APA hotels, this hotel was quite secluded away which may inconvenience some guests.
Room is clean and facilities is good as expected from APA hotels.

UkraineUnfortunately, I cannot say that my room was perfectly clean. There was someone's hair in the bathroom and the black mold in visible places and water armature was covered in sediment and behaving a bit strange - turning off water unexpectedly. I had to fix the curtain in the shower myself since it was not properly hung. There were feathers on my bed that I do not know how they got there. So overall, I felt a certain sloppiness in this respect. Maybe the hotel should plan more time per room for the employees to avoid such occurrences in the future. The hotel brand is actively using green washing - saying their small rooms are environment friendly, but I had to run the air conditioner on heating mode to maintain pleasant temperature, because the room was getting very cold fast - they did not invest in sound and environment isolation. That's typical for Japan, but then don't claim to be environment friendly.
Small hotel with not too many people around and an option of good breakfast for an ok price. There are multiple metro and train stations in the neighbourhood, but you still will have to walk around 1-1.5km to them.

JapanIt is a few minutes' walk from the nearby train station. Breakfast was excellent, but I would prefer to be able to choose what I want to eat instead of having a breakfast set.
There were enough amenities in the toilet. As the rooms were serviced every three days, towels, more amenities, and pyjamas for the next day were delivered to the door. The room is equipped with a huge screen TV.

United KingdomThe location is not perfect, within at least 15 min walk from the nearest subway station, no JR stations nearby at all. In addition, there is a highway located directly next to the hotel, elevated to the level of ~5-7 floor, and heavy trucks are passing throughout the night non-stop, creating a noise. It's not that bad, just something to take a note of.
Very nice and helpful staff, we got a relatively large double room that finally had enough storage space for the luggage, which is a rarity in this chain of hotels.

United KingdomI use this hotel whenever I’m in Tokyo as it’s located in a quiet part of Tokyo and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station (Hamacho). There are some good cheap restaurants nearby, as well as a good local supermarket! Again with APA you will have facilities like trouser press, washing machine, Tumble dryer, ice machine and VOD TV.

New ZealandA bit further from the train stations. Although it gives me a lot of exercise walking back and forth. A laundromat machine is provided, but I would recommend adding another one since a lot of people line up for just one machine sometimes. And please provide your vending machine with some soft drinks like Coke or Mountain dew as it does not provide it.
I like how it provides you a good view at the bridge and lake. The cleanliness of the room is excellent. Budget wise to stay in if booked very earlier.

AustraliaThe wifi was in the assigned room was not functioning properly when WhatsApp video calls were being made.
It has a good location near the river. The staff are very helpful and polite. For improvements 1. Add a few more choices to the meals. 2. Some reception staff must learn to master the art of welcoming and serving guests in a way that makes the guest feel positive (helping the guest by leading the way for them). 3. An encouragement to reception staff would be their improvement on English speaking to help with better communication and understanding.
