Room is a bit small but it's still quite comfortable for single travellers. You cannot complain much given the price:)

there were bugs in my bed (staff were accommodating and moved me upon my request). These are budget friendly hotels so they are very cramped even for a single traveler. The only Two elevators are very busy and pretty small (had to wait multiple rounds to get on). Depending on which side you’re on you could either hear the train passing or the bustling on the street with people. (I preferred hearing the train).

Affordable and very close to a station (also station isn’t too busy). Access to airport Express so quick and easy to arrive and leave. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Restaurants and local family mart on the same block. Room amenities restocked daily (except water).

Although the room was spotless and allegedly smoke-free, there was a slight lingering odor of cigarette smoke in the room and hallways. Aside from this, everything was excellent.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The luggage storage system felt safe and reliable. The location was perfect! It's surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores and 3 minutes from the train station. The wifi in the room was excellent.

The convenience of traveling throughout major spots in Tokyo. 5min walk to the Nippori station where there is also a direct train line (NRT Skyliner) to Narita Airport. The staff were also very accommodating and tended to our needs and requests.

The room was quite small and the bed was very soft, which would be fine for some people.

Everything was fine - the hotel was close to the Nippori Train station and we could walk to everything in the Ueno area. The room was clean and the staff was helpful.

Great location next to the station and the Skyliner for easy transport to and from Narita airport. Staff were friendly and were happy to hold our bags before check in. Room was small but comfortable.

The railway side rooms have a bit of train noise since it's right by the tracks, although it's not too bad as the windows are well insulated and it's easy to adjust the a/c so you don't need to open them. I haven't stayed on the other side (away from the tracks) but if you prefer quiet to a good view you might want to ask if they have a room on the non-railway side.

Part of the Apa chain which is consistently well-run and thoughtfully designed with good amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms on the railway side have a good view out over Yanaka Cemetery then out over the center of the city. The old Yanaka area is interesting to explore on foot - walk back up to the station and cross the train tracks to the other side.
