Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaReally small rooms, 1 lift that becomes super busy while checkout time and one has to wait for over 30 mins sometimes.
Location is very closer to Station at Hibya Line and really walking distance to catch metro, they provide complimentary breakfast

AustraliaBreakfast, it only had tiny croissants and juice and tea, no cereal, typically japenese. Maybe some toast and cereal could be added to menu
This was a very nice hotel, room was good decent size for Japan Great location, only 15walk from Tokyo station, flat and easy walk Subway station about 2mins away to where ever you needed to go

United KingdomThe bed took a couple of nights to get used to and there are limited facilities (supermarkets/restaurants/etc) directly around the hotel.
A great location with easy connections around Tokyo. Especially great for a trip that included visiting Disney and some sightseeing. The staff were also really friendly and when I left something in the room they have been very responsive in arranging for me to get it returned.

RomaniaHas the smallest restaurant i have seen in any hotel with only 4-5 tables for a 10 story building. The breakfast was also extremly simple and remained the same for 3 days

AustraliaIn line with APA chain hotels, you can expect the necessities you need for a short stay at a more budget price. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great location. Usual hotel room size is quite small but they had under bed suitcase storage.

United KingdomModern and clean room with a comfortable bed and good shower pressure. I was expecting the room to be smaller after all the negative reviews - but although it is not enormous a lot of effort has been made to make good use of the available space and there is plenty of room for suitcases under the bed and a storage box to use as a drawer, which was more than we needed. (However this arrangement would be difficult for someone with limited mobility who could not kneel down on the floor). There is a water dispenser near the microwave in the lobby to refill the bottles that are provided on the first day.

Hotel a couple of minutes walk away from subway station so easy to access Tokyo Centre. Rooms are very compact and air conditioning centrally controlled so far too warm for us. Otherwise everything you need from a hotel.

AustraliaBooked 2 rooms, a single and a double occupancy. The double occupancy only set up for one person with one towel. A tiny inconvenience that was quickly rectified by the hotel with additional towels.
We stayed only 1 night specifically to attend the Pokémon Cafe, but was pleasantly surprised to learn the hotel was close to Tokyo Station, a walkable 18min, so we got to check out the station and Character Street same day. Room very small but has excellent soundproofing so very peaceful.

AustraliaThe hotel is located on the side road and not very visible from the street.
The best APA I stayed on this trip. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and polite - he even processed our check-in earlier although the room was not ready yet (we arrived at 11am). Stark contrast with other hotels which pushed us to use the machine. Room is clean. Great location if you plan to visit Disneyland.

United KingdomProperty only has one lift but most of the time it was unoccupied so it wasn’t too bad. Rooms slightly on the smaller size but if you are out exploring Tokyo room size isn’t really a big concern.
It was clean and quiet with friendly staff. More of a residential area, but with a restaurant diner and a Lawson convenience store a few blocks down. A metro just down the road to get you to Ginza. Tokyo station is nearby too about walkable distance.

ThailandThis isn't exactly a complaint, since all budget hotels are super compact. But for a longer stay -- 2 weeks for me -- it was a bit of a challenge, since there aren't any kind of drawers. So you really are living out of your suitcase.
As with all APA hotels (this is my 3rd one), they have a simple formula -- friendly, efficient staff, good location, and clean rooms that have everything you need. This one has the bonus of being right by Hachobori metro station, and is also just a 10 minute walk from Tokyo station. The unit-bathroom was a bit larger than a usual economy hotel, which was nice. They also have some super convenient laundry machines that are one-touch-does-all just off the lobby. Really helped since I was there for quite a long while. And although there's not much entertainment in the immediate area, there are some family restaurants a minute or two walk away, plus a Tori Kizoku nearby (grilled chicken...really good food there). There's also a Saizeriya right near by, which is my fave family restaurant.

United StatesThe room are too small if you stay 1 night is ok, but we stayed 4 nights.
The employees were nice and friendly. The location is good, 2 minutes next to H metro line. The room was clean and we got every day new towels ans amenities. The price I find it too high but that weekend was a little bit expensive everywhere and sold out.

CanadaWe had requested 2 rooms close together, but they gave us 2 on different floors. I had to request the change on arrival, but one of the rooms had a strong cigarette smoke smell, so we had to change the rooms again. The rooms were small, but adequate.
The hotel is in a quiet area just steps away from the Hatchobori metro station. It is walking distance to the Tsukiji outer market and Ginza.

United StatesThe location was good for my needs but because Hatchobori is more of a commerce area, the people there were not as friendly outside of the hotel. Some staff in the nearby 711s were rude and impatient towards tourists. The location is centrally located to many stations but it is impossible to walk anywhere of relevance and most touristy places within the tokyo area.
I like the location of this hotel because the area felt safe and quiet. It is only a few minutes walk from several subway lines and it is conveniently located next to 711s and other shops. The staff were friendly and tried to help answer our questions as much as possible. For the price, I think the amenities are fair and they had easy diy laundary which came in handy for our 5 night stay.
