Liked that the location was close to Kyoto station. Restaurants also in walking distance. Staff was very helpful and helped make my stay in Kyoto wonderful.

The location was spot on - just a 5-minute walk to the station and right in the heart of shops and restaurants, making it super convenient. The room had a lovely big king-size bed and was well-stocked with all the toiletries you could possibly need. Breakfast was traditional Japanese, but there were also options like croissants, yoghurt, and granola for those who prefer a more Western start to the day. There’s no bar or lunchtime service, but with so much nearby, it wasn’t an issue. Being a large chain hotel, it did feel a little less personal, and the lifts got quite busy at peak times, especially during breakfast. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay.

Room and public baths were as pictured (yukata provided). Under bed storage for luggage was helpful, and reception held our luggage before and after check in/out. Check in/out was straightforward, however it took several trips to reception for our room keycard to work.

The elevator is very busy around 9AM.

The room was large, with a desk, small table and a larger bed (Japanese king bed). The traditional Japanese breakfast is a plus, and the location is very close to Kyoto Station and shopping options (including Yodobashi and Donki). Dining options around the area are great, from Wagyu to Italian restaurants.

A lovely little hotel with a comfy bed and nice onsen for relaxing after a long day of walking around Kyoto. Expensive compared to other cities, but then that’s Kyoto for you. The included breakfast was varied and good quality, I was able to fill up for a long day of walking! The room is standard Japan - small but with a very comfy bed and a small but spotless bathroom.

Elevators are crowded in the morning time. Room making starts at around 9:00 am, and so, the room is a bit noisy.

Close to the JR Kyoto Station. There is a convenience store (seven-eleven) in front of the hotel. Comfortable WIFI connection, which could be used as a ZOOM meeting.

Spacious room by Japanese standards, with king bed & seating area. Ability to hang clothes/ small bags & underbed storage all made for more comfort for a couple. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is close to train station but a 30 minute walk/ bus/train ride from Gion & other attractions. Plenty of restaurants & convenience stores nearby.

I have visited Kyoto a few times, staying in different hotels APA Kyoto Ekihigashi, have been by far my favourite choice. Location of the hotel is mins away from Kyoto main train stations where u can take all Kyoto line to your needed destinations. It is also beside malls like Bic Camera . In house onsen is available with well prepared amenities provided.

The breakfast was pure, not worth of the money I paid for it. The pillows were very hard.

Perfect location, just a few steps from Kyoto station. Room size was OK in comparision to other Japanese hotels. Big comfy beds but the pillows were extremly hard and not comfortable . A lot of amenities. There is an onsen as well but I did not try it.

The room toilet floor is one big step higher than the room floor.Its not so conducive for elderly to climb one step to the toilet.

The rooml is extremely clean,all amenities are available and the bed is comfortable .There are lots of hooks in the room for hanging clothes.The location is excellent,just next to kyoto station.

Hotel is close to Kyoto station with many eateries and convenience stores nearby. Room is a little larger than similar hotels in the area, and is clean and well furnished. Staff ware helpful in making changes to a dinner reservation we made. Great value for money for downtown Kyoto!

We had a lovely stay at this location. The staff were friendly, and the check-out was easy peasy. The hotel is close to the (JR) train and subway stations with multiple convenient store nearby. You can check the spa's crowd levels on your hotelroom television, allowing you to plan ahead.
