Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomExcellent location, close to some lovely walks and shops. Room was stocked with everything we needed. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The hotel has an amazing terrace that gives a superb view of Tokyo city (day and night) We did not eat there, however, the restaurant menu looked extensive.

United KingdomEvery 3 days they come in to clean, you cannot place your room on DND. Windows do not open so I would have to go downstairs to get some fresh air
Decent location, about 10 mins walk from 2 train stations, you can cast your phone to the TV which is great as the TV channels are not English speaking. The housekeeper leaves a bag at your door every day with a new gown, towel and some bathroom essentials

CanadaOne, certainly not all of the front desk managers was a bit rude, though, I don't recall her name. I was quoted 10,287 Yen for the evening which is reasonable for such a nice little hotel and the great neighbourhood that it is situated. Although, when I requested a late check-out, I was charged an additional 8,000 Yen, for a total of 18, 287 Yen for a mere 4 hours extra. Later, I realised in the room that a late check-out was only 2,000 Yen. How on earth was I charged so much, for such a short time? When I brought this up, I was met with a cold stare, instead of an explanation. So I stated that if I'm already being charged a sum similar to an extra night, then I should be able to check-out whenever I wanted. Very rudely, I was told 2pm at the latest. As for the rest of the staff, all others, including the restaurant staff were very nice and helpful.
Great room with very modern facilities, situated in a very cool neighbourhood and close to everything that one would require.

Easy access from railway station, which was easy from HND airport. Limited breakfast options from a set menu, not buffet like some. Room was bigger than some, very clean quite and well equipped. Very nice staff. Reset my too-hot air con quickly.

AustraliaClosest coffee was further than we would have liked but no problem walking for 10 minutes to get there. Closeness of other things more than compensated.
Located close to 2 train lines, 1 direct to airport with no stops. Heaps of food choices in the area and starting from 3-4 minutes walk away.

AustraliaBreakfast basically non existent to western diet. But hey, it's japan
Clean and friendly staff. Restaurant had very limited menu being seafood speciality only basically. I choose this place specifically as they held our luggage all day for free, as our flight was not till 8pm. Many places charge. I also like the fact you could request on tv screen a later check out up to 3 hours..it did cost 20$ Oz per hour but we were given the option without leaving ouroom

AustraliaHotel staff do not speak much English, and we had a disagreement about a breakfast voucher. I booked a room for 2 people, and I indicated 1 adult and 1 teenager. The room was inclusive breakfast, but somehow they refused to issue 2 breakfast vouchers! I got only one for me as an adult, but not for the second person , as he was booked as a “child”, they wouldn’t feed my 16 yr old without a voucher. I couldn’t get through to their logic that booking 2 people for a room inclusive breakfast usually means free breakfast both of the people. Anyhow, BF is very Japanese, so if you dont fancy soup and beef or pork then go and get yourself something cheaper than paying 1400 YEN!
Central location, lots of food stalls in near vicinity. 5 mins to train station. Rooms are small but very efficient in their use. Air con is nice and quiet.
