We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

they put a paper crane in my room and it’s cute. i LOVE the bathroom too, clean and comfortable. the location is good too as it’s just 5 minutes train ride to a main station (shinagawa sta.) and it’s within walking distance from the hotel to the station.

We weren’t here long, however, the facility was really nice, and the included breakfast was worth it. There was a bit of a language barrier, but we communicated pretty effectively using a translation app.

Canadafor westerners, the room may be considered small. However, it was enough for me! feels good to be able to lie on a comfy bed and take a bath in the small tub.
it is super close to the airport. just a few sky train stops away. stayed for an overnight layover. there are plenty of food options in the area. Sparkling clean!

United KingdomThe only windows in the room were in the bathroom which made ventilation a little difficult. Of course this is a design issue, not the fault of any of the staff at the hotel.
The staff were very helpful and patient. The room was clean and well kept by the cleaning staff. Apa hotels are also working towards being more eco-friendly which I believe is very important.
