Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenCleaning wasn’t done every day but every third day, although we did get fresh towels daily. The staff didn’t quite understand when we said the trash bin was full. We didn’t want to leave it outside the room in case the bag leaked. It’s really nothing to fuss about, but such a small room does get dusty and dirty pretty quickly. Overall a very good hotel!
This hotel had everything you could wish for. AC, fridge, toiletries, and a great location near 7/11 and Family Mart. Lots of restaurants right outside on the street. Sure, the room is small, but for the price, it’s worth it! We bought our own breakfast and always walked about 20 minutes to Osaki Station, which takes you directly to the Yamanote Line. There’s also a closer station if you prefer. Nothing to complain about!

SwitzerlandThere was absolutely nothing NOT good about my stay!
I used to live in Togoshi-Ginza a few years ago and therefore I'm still emotionally bound to that place. To find an APA Hotel made me immediately booking it - fantastic. The location is perfect, it's a new building, the rooms are fresh & clean and super-quiet.

New ZealandRooms are tiny, literally can't walk around your room if you have two people and a suitcase.
These hotels always seem to be in good central locations. Bed was comfortable.

AustraliaI found the location of this hotel to be excellent. It is next to a subway station which is one stop from the Yamanote line, set in a local shopping street that has lots to offer. The room was very clean and a good size.

JapanThe only thing is there is no washing machine, but there is a nearby coin laundry. Other than that it's within a shotengai (shopping street)so you basically have everything within reach!
The location of this Apa Hotel was absolutely great! and as always, I almost have no complaint about this hotel. Really great for solo travellers and also for a quick one night rest from roaming around!

SingaporeBreakfast was bad. Japanese breakfast and Western breakfast were just as bad.
It is located along the Togoshi Ginza and the nearest train station is about 100m away.

Clean hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms were well equipped. 2 stations very close by so travelling around was easy. Lots of restaurants and bars close by with a lawson right on the corner.

Hong KongThe bathroom is a little bit tiny TBH, I like to stay in the bathtub to get cooked and during my one night stay this bathtub save me from having the thought, thanks Mr. bathtub.
The facility is located right next to the Togoshi Ginza train exit A2 (maybe few hundred yards?), a commercial street is just right next to the building itself.

United StatesI wish this location offered a public bath option, but I believe the cost compared to ones that do were lower. So it's ok.
Great location to visit short term, a bit out of the way from major train stop though. The bento style breakfast wasn't bad, but not sure I'd pay for it again.
