Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere should be a coffee machine available for use. The Cafe, when open, way overcharged for coffee and it took forever to make.
Grear setup with good lighting at desk to use as vanity and storage under the bed. Liked fresh towels at door each day.

MalaysiaThe room is small so have to be mindful of your luggage space! We had to open and close ours each time we move around in the room.
The staff were really friendly, the location is near multiple train lines and surrounded by food! Perfect for family or with friends looking for a good time in Tokyo!

ThailandRoom layout should be better in term of more function & more storage which is important for two or more people staying more than 2 nights during winter with 2 big luggage & many fluffy clothes. But so far, we managed for 6 nights stay, and we like it.
Great location— easy to explore Tokyo as it closes to both JR and subway & one direct train from Narita airport. Also, surrounding with all convenient stores, local restaurants (some opens til late & opens 24/7), more local vibe but still near everything. Super comfy bed, clean room. Small but still more spacious than APA standard room. AC/heater is easy adjust, so important as we stayed during winter.

ArgentinaThe room was too small and the part of the room where the tv was placed was very uncomfortable. The trash cans are also too small. There's also a mandatory clean service every 3 days and you can't choose the time in which it'll take place, so you're gonna have a bad time those days if you like waking up late.
Service and comfort were amazing. If you weren't happy with the cleaning (it wasn't my case), you could also request extra cleaning days. The people in the staff were all super polite. Location was great too, just around 10 minutes walking to Akihabara, and 1 block away from the train station. The rooms and the place in general was super quiet, I never heard a single sound coming from other rooms, it was as if I were the only guest in the whole place.

SpainFirst of all, the attention of all the reception staff, but especially of "Sam's genius", who helped us with the issue of sending the suitcases. Then the location is excellent. It is equidistant 200 meters from the Asakusa line and 200 meters from the Chuo-Sobu line, with these two lines we have reached all the places we have gone. Also at night there are more than 20 eating options nearby, in addition to convenience stores.

AustraliaNo cleaning daily unless you pay but not a huge deal.
Close by to both JR (Sobu Line) and Subway Asakusabashi stations, walkable distance to the Sumo area of Ryogoku. Plenty of food on offer nearby the hotel as well and also lots of great convience stores nearby. There is also a super market abotu 5 minutes walk away as well. 15 minutes walk to Akihabara or 1 stop on the JR line. This is a good cheap place to stay if you want a good base to travel around Tokyo. The subways also connect directly to both Haneda and Narita Airports on select express trains which makes it super convienent.

JapanNoted the women's/handicap bathroom needed to be cleaned. Seemed not to have been serviced. otherwise it was all good.
Location is great as it is near two train lines. Very close to Tokyo Skytree (about three or four stops on the Asakusa line). The area is nice and quiet. There are a good number of bars and restaurants around the station. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Not much room for holding of bags before you can access the room but they made it work. We had breakfast tickets for each morning in the little restaurant and they had three set breakfast menus, traditional Japanese, a Western take (euro fare), and an Okinawan Taco Rice selection. Free rice, soup, juice, tea, and coffee. Just what you need for a start to your day in Tokyo. This is the third APA location and by far the biggest room I've been in with a full size fridge and closet for belongings.
