Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The breakfast is very tasty and the staff members are so nice in the restaurant. The check-in counter staff members are also professional. I have to say many thanks for their big help when I was in trouble with my airport transfer. The female staff helped me to discuss with the transfer company over the phone again and again. Finally, the driver of the transfer company did not come and she immediately arranged a taxi for me to catch my flight. Her professional service is very appreciated.

Loved our stay!! Close to the train station so can access all of Tokyo. Lots of small restaurants and eateries around , we were spoilt for choice. Close to 7/11 and family mart. Everything we needed. Rooms were good size, bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. Would recommend this hotel !!!!

AustraliaThe breakfast was the worst experience. We signed up for breakfast thinking it would be a buffet and a variety of spread. But all we got, everyday for 8 days was the same 3 menu options. We were shocked as we did not expect such limited menu options. Not to mention the same for all days. There are no Vegetarian or Vegan options at all. The staff were least bothered. Did not even try and understand or help. Except the breakfast fiasco, i would say that it was a pretty good experience. Would not recommend anyone including breakfast while booking here.
The hotel was very close to the Asakusabashi and JR Asakusabashi stations. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

AustraliaThe room was incredibly dusty and cramped, my eyes itched and I was sneezing every time I entered the room, while not 'dirty' the room didn't feel clean and the bath/shower plug was completely clogged. There was very little space, even for Tokyo. The room was cluttered and you could only access the bed from 1/4 sides. Definitely not suitable for anyone with dust allergies or more than one person per room.
The location is okay although the area is challenging to find anywhere to eat at night

The shower room is larger than the APA hotel near Osaka station. The TV also provide phone connection that can share your phone’s screen with it. This hotel is English friendly and provides high standard services.

ThailandThe room is not super soundproof so I could hear the other guests talking and unluckily the room beside mine slept quite late so I had trouble sleeping because they talked so loudly. Other than that the hotel did exceed my expectations for a business hotel.
The hotel is accessible with both JR lines and Tokyo Metro Lines. Both stations have an elevator but it's quite far. There are also trains traveling directly to the airport from the station so it's very convenient. There are nearby convenience stores, the hotel room is very spacious and they gave me a room with a very wonderful view of the city. I could see the Tokyo Skytree from my room (my room is on the 13th floor). The staff is great! The hotel is very clean and quiet. I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time I visit Tokyo. No hassle with the check-in and check-out process. The room is very spacious for a solo traveler by the way, so it's definitely worth your money.

PhilippinesAs a female solo traveler, I was first placed at a room far end of a hallway at the top floor. Had a bad feeling about this from the start but disregarded it. But then come midnight, someone started banging on my wall twice coming from the room beside me. I was not making any noise. I’m very discreet so not sure why that happened. The walls were like cheap wood that when you knock on it, there’s a loud sound so that’s not good. It’s one of the scariest things I’ve experienced considering this is Japan, supposed to be safe, right. I called up front desk shaking and had to use my App Translator since they barely understood English. They just told me a man was staying there. At least they were kind enough to accommodate my request to transfer another room right away and the lady receptionist even accompanied me all the way. So kudos to the staff that night. The rest of my stay was peaceful but I was already traumatized. I wouldn’t really recommend this place for solo female travelers. Place is a bit outdated and walls are thin.
Location was near a subway station with elevator. This is super important when you’re in Japan and if you have a heavy luggage!! I left my necklace in the room but I got it back because it’s Japan after all ;) The staff were friendly too.
