Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesI noticed that the carpeted floor is so dusty especially under the bed and every corners of the room. I think it was not clean or vacuumed properly. So, I hope this would be improved.
Great location as it’s near the stations like Asakusa and Kuramae stations. I also like the neighborhood as its very quiet and not crowded. It is also very near to Shinsoji temple and Tokyo skytree. There are lots of convenience stores nearby like 7/11. Although the room is small as expected but it is fine for me as a solo traveller.

PhilippinesWhen we arrived the room given to us was a little dusty, but good thing every 3 days they clean it. I get irritated from the wifi in our room it keeps on disconnecting. It is important to us because we are working. Also we booked 2 rooms but we were given different floors, They should have atleast placed us in same floor. To sum it up. It was a very pleasant stay for us
Location is near everything, my first time in tokyo and I didn't encounter any problem from the area. The staff were nice esp the ladies. Great hotel experience.

PhilippinesThe carpet has a lot of fibers and if you put something on the floor, you'll see the tiny fibers sticking.
Location was perfect, just few minutes walk from Asakusa station, straight from Narita Airport. Trash was always collected even it is not the scheduled cleaning day which I really appreciate in keeping the room tidy and the amenities package was always resupplied.

NetherlandsWe were looking forward to the view over the city and river from our corner room but we got 6th floor so it was partially blocked by other buildings
Small room (as expected) but clean, efficient and with plenty of available amenities. The sound isolation is very good too! We usually don't stay in the chain hotels but this one definitely exceeded our expectations.

United StatesAmenities (instant beverages and sugar, cups, stirrers) were a little inconsistent...my friend had double what mine had, and received the same amount the morning after arrival. I had one of each and never received refills. It maybe doesn't sound important, but with such a great distance traveled, with a dramatically different timezone, an instant coffee packet is like gold.
Good location, quiet, comfortable, simple but appreciated amenities.

AustraliaEverything was good. Maybe the checkout process was a bit stressful because you start getting messages on your TV a few minutes before checkout time (10am) that if you leave even one minute late, then there will be a late check-out fee? I don't know if that's the case because I checked in on time, but that's some unnecessary stress. I understand people should leave on time, but sometimes we checkout 3-5 late and that should be understood. I would still stay in the hotel again, but the message was a bit unpleasant. I know I'm writing a long message over nothing. I would still give this room a 10/10 😂
The views are amazing from the room in the corner. While the space is small (I think it would ve a bit small for a couple) it was perfect for me, a solo traveller. I was on the 11th floor and just because of the views I would stay there again for sure when back in Asakusa. The check in and check out process was smooth. The price was very good too.

TurkeyThe room and bathroom were small but it was okey for us. Because it's cheap and the location is perfect.
Kuramea station and asakusa station are so close you can use different lines easily. Also the ice machine and microwave are life saver and also there is a small market in the entrance ( in the right small cordidor) you can take something easily via your credit cart in. the night. Of course there is a 7/11 like in 2 minutes by walk but the pringles was soooo good in the hotel market. Also , everyday they put a bag in front of the room, there are clean towels, drinking packages and the personal hygiene products. We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. Cleaning was done twice but we did not ask for extra. And we left the hotel very satisfied. You can also easily do your transactions from the machines when you enter and exit.

GermanyThe hotel is very well located in Asakusa, close to main spots and metro. Clean and comfortable, despite the small space — normal for Tokyo though. A special thank you to the staff that helped me deal with a personal issue in a timely and caring way! That was certainly a highlight!

New ZealandThe rooms are pretty small and compact but you get what you pay for. Pretty solid choice if you're looking for a cheaper hotel. Wouldn't recommend it for two people though as it is again, pretty small

BrazilIf you are traveling in a budget, APA hotel is a great choice. It offers confort and it is very minimalist but has everything you need. The location is close to metro stations of many lines. The check in and check out process, as luggage storage is all contactless and automatic, which helps if you do not speak japanese, as the applications have english version to choose.
