Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaWish they vacuumed when they clean the rooms. During our 4 week stay I don't think the room was vacuumed once.
Locations, amenities, nicely laid out for its size, good water pressure in the shower

CanadaAlthough the room is a bit small, it is very clean. The customer service is excellent, and the hotel is conveniently located — the subway is right next to it, with plenty of restaurants, anime shops, and more nearby. Great-value hotel。

RomaniaThe room is as small as it says it is, but every amenity is designed to perfectly fit and serve a purpose, for a first timer this blew my mind. There’s even plenty of room to store your bags under the bed. Anything better than this would probably cost you double the price, definitely recommend it for short stays.

AustraliaThis is a very nice hotel to stay at only marred by a very unusual policy that the hotel has with regards to checking in before the allotted time. We had arrived an hour or so before check time (3 pm). We asked if the room was clean and ready. They said yes it was, but to go in early, we would need to pay an additional 4000 yen. This is astounding and is a policy that should be changed. It upset us greatly. We have travelled all around the world and through Japan and have never had this happen before.

PhilippinesThe air conditioner is centralized and adjusts based on the outside temperature, so we had no control over it. Unfortunately, it was very hot during the night, and we weren’t able to sleep well. We even had to borrow a fan from the lobby just to get by, but it wasn’t enough to make the room comfortable.

PolandNothing much comes to mind, I got exactly what I wanted.
Great location, really close to both the JR station and the Metro station, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Room was really clean, staff always very nice and helpful. Great place to set as your 'base' to see Tokyo. As an added bonus for smokers: one of the only public smoking spots I found in Akihabara is right besides the hotel's entrance.

AustraliaThe bed was ok, but could be improved for comfort as I like a firmer mattress.
The property was really clean and room was too. Good location, just a 5minute walk from JR Akihabara station, and close to the Ginza Line.

QatarThe room heater i have this time is difficult to control. It takes time to warm the room, then slight adjustment became heat galore. Minor issue though.

United StatesRoom is small, but it's enough for solo travelling, may need to get a bigger room if you have a big family.

HungaryThe air conditioning was either off resulting in 19C or on 28C, and there were only two coin laundry which meant I had to wait for it even at 2 AM. The bath tub was too little for my liking and compared to other same price hotel in Japan I tried recently
Best location ever in the middle of akihabara, laundry inside the building and free jav porn on the tv

PortugalI didn’t have any issues. There are some handrails on a balcony in the interior of the building that could be taller, but it’s no big deal.
The hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable. The location is awesome, right at the heart of Akihabara! Definitely staying here again on a next trip.

HungarySomehow the airconditioning didnt work in my room properly, if i turned it on, it heated up the room to like 28 C, if i turned it off, then it kept cooling off even below 19C.
it is perfect location if you want to visit akihabara, it is in the middle of it. All the shops i wanted to visit was within 5 min walk, and akihabara station is also very close so you can easily get anywhere in the city on the yamanote line. Also the room was really affordable like 10000 JPY per night, i guess it would be more expensive in main season

TurkeyI have been going to Japan for 10 years and this is the first time I have witnessed a Japanese employee swearing and speaking aggressively. The male employee in the lobby swore in English loudly enough for me to hear and I walked away from there to avoid a fight.
It is in a very convenient place in terms of location and distance to metro stations.
