Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe rooms are really small and it was hard to organize the luggage.
Great location, flat ground and easy to get around, heart of Akihabara, newly built hotel, tons of amenities, good AC. Akihabara is the centre of anime from a male shounen perspective but you can still find some shoujo merchandise. The rooms are very small and a larger person would have some issues, but for us it was perfect. The corridors are open to the outside so it can get very cold, but that was a plus on my opinion because 1) you know exactly if you’re wearing the right clothes as you step outside your room, 2) because the air and sound travel freely, you have an incredibly silent corridor (which is always an issue in hotels, where you can’t control what other patrons do). The laundry facilities were good, and you can check on the room’s tv if it’s occupied. We didn’t have issues using it like others mentioned. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We did not try the breakfast.

NetherlandsExcellent central location in Akihabara, close between both Akihabara JR and Suehirocho subway station. Rooms were well soundproofed consideirng Japan traditionally has thin walls. The large desk means you could get some actual work done on your laptop without having to leave your room to find a coffee place

AustraliaSmall issue: No sitting area on ground floor. So when you are waiting for your car/tour bus then you have to either stand in the reception hallway or wait outside in the cold
Location close to train station, restaurants, shopping center. Room itself is very clean. Provide new towels.

IrelandThe bed. My gosh, very soft memory foam mattrass. Double bed shared, made it feel like it was dipping a bit toward the middle.I like a firmer bed better. But that is down to personal taste. In a hotel, especially after a long day walking, what one needs is a great night's rest. Do bring some earplugs as u will need them. Overall, we had an absolute fine stay. Rooms small, but we knew and expected that.
Location was truly very handy, easy access to the rest of Tokyo with all the metro Lines surrounding. Very new hotel, very clean. Has all one needs. Staff is very helpful if u need them. Like I did with my portable WiFi box. The receptionist went out of her way to help me set it up. Overall, the stay was absolutely fine. Good value for money. There are no big huge complaints about anything. Only thing for me was ....

CanadaFor laundry, the dryers take much longer than the washing machines, so laundry gets backlogged quite badly. There are also only 2 pairs of washer/dryer which are occupied very often. A combo washer-dryer would be better and would reduce conflict between guests that are waiting. Not much of a view but that's to be expected.
Excellent location within walking distance of both the Suehirocho station and Akihabara station. These two stations cover most train routes to popular tourist destinations in Tokyo. While the rooms are small, they are designed decently well, with space under the bed to put 2 large luggage plus carryon/bags. There were power outlets on both sides of the bed with one side having USB ports and controls for the lights and air conditioning. The washroom is small but has all you need including a tap that says it provides drinkable water. The shower head top mount might be a bit low for tall people though. The television includes a basic selection of VODs free of charge. It also shows the status of the washer/dryer. For breakfast, it was reasonably priced according to the quality, selection and convenience. We only tried it once since there are a lot of food options in the area such as the Excelsior Caffé next door. The rear entrance was also useful for exploring some of the side street shops, vending machines, and the closer FamilyMart next door, and the Lawsons down the street. On the 2nd floor there's a vending machine and a microwave. Checkout was pretty straightforward with the machine that accepts your room card. Staff are also present around checkout time to help. You can also leave your bags at the front desk for a few hours if checkout is too early, it's free of charge but you need to book it online ahead of time. There was usually one front desk staff that could speak good english, but not all can, so be patient and make use of translate apps or google translate.

IndiaCheck-in time is very strict at 3pm, which was inconvenient for me as my flight landed at 7am. They allow you to drop off your luggage at the reception and come back later. However it would be appreciated if they could add an option for early check in for a fee.
Location is excellent. 200m away from Suehirochō Station and 650m away from Akihabara Station. Plenty of restaurants and electronics shops around. Check-in starts at 3pm and is done from an automated kiosk, where you put in your details, and the key-card pops out. Staff is always nearby to help you with it. Room was very clean. Housekeeping is provided on request, however they drop off a care package with fresh towels, toiletries and coffee every day. Bed is very comfortable. The toilet is small but all the facilities are well positioned so that I did not have any issue with using the sink, toilet and shower. There is a small fridge in the room as well. I was on the 8th floor and the room was very quiet. The window opens slightly, however the view is of the next building over. The AC was highly adjustable, however the temperature outside was ~20° so i didn't really need it. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers on the reception level. However i found that the dryers were almost always occupied. The status of the washers and dryers can be viewed from the TV in the room which was nice. Overall i had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

United StatesN/A, perfect stay.
The location, it was in an amazing location where you could get up in the morning, and or night and walk and see everything you want to see in Akihabara. The Station is 5 minutes away. It was the perfect location. The staff were extremely polite and accommodating. My suitcase broke and they told me where I could get a cheap suitcase, and also took my broken suitcase for me. I was worried due to not knowing how to dispose trash in Japan! I would highly recommend. They even held my bags for me after checking out for a while until I was ready to move on to my next hotel.
