Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaNever tried the breakfast option, but the neighbourhood is filled with good places to eat 24/7. Hotel itself is a very short walk from JR Akihabara, Tsukuba Express, and Hibiya subway line, but tucked away in a quiet location with a few great restaurants right next door. WiFi is fast, room layout has all the amenities one would want, and a good bed with comfy pillows. Perfect place for a business layover...

CanadaRooms are definitely small compared to canada / usa, but this is Tokyo. You are unable to use air conditioning in February but it wasn't an issue since you can crack the window if its too hot.
I stayed in this hotel and the super hotel premier during this trip. Apa was by far the best! Loved the tub that stopped when it was full, I was able to charge my laptop with the Americanized plugs, which I couldn't at super hotel. Elevator is rarely full, I loved my stay here and would prefer it over the super hotel for sure.

United StatesBooking.com did not make it clear that the price of the room at the time was the doubled "low availability" price. That said, it was still at excellent value.
Excellent value, quality, service, location, without compromising on any factor. Size is perfect for one person.

United StatesApparently there is a breakfast available but when the front desk was showing me how to get there (a totally different property blocks away), I was like, um, no. There is instant coffee and dried creamer in the drawer and a kettle but you will want to make your way to the close 7/11 for their awesome latte. It would be nice if checkout was a bit later than 10am.
This is a solid hotel. I have stayed here 3 times because it is a convenient location (you have to train it everywhere in Tokyo but Akihabara is pretty central.). The rooms are tiny but inexpensive enough, at least in the off season, for each person to have their own room. I have stayed here with my husband in one room and it is tight. The bathrooms are compact but well thought out. I love how the lights and temperature can be controlled from the bed. The first time I stayed here, it was way too hot and I had to open the window and crack the door to cool it off. Now, there is a digital control and you can just power off the heat. I have never been there in the summer so cannot vouch for any air conditioning. You also get a robe and 2 different types of slippers. This is a no frills but competently run hotel.

AustraliaThe lack of a laundry room. Water bottles were not provided daily.
It was in a convenient location and the rooms were comfortable and cozy. Our double room wasn't very big but was spacious enough to fit 2 large suitcases and 2 carry on suitcases which I was relieved for. I loved having bathroom amenities restocked every day. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner were also great.

United StatesThe bidet in the room didn't have heated water or seats. so when i wanted to use it, ice cold water was shot up my bum.
Didn't have breakfast there, the staff were very professional and their english was good. They put in the effort to be excellent hosts, and helped me with getting my package from Amazon, and even spoke to customer service on my behalf and helped to get me English speaking staff on the phone for me.

United StatesThey charged to use the room early per hour at a rate higher than a near by netcafe. The staff was nice but a little stand offish. Might have been a language barrier or because I kept making mistakes when checking in or because they were training the front desk clerk but I didn't want to talk to them after check in. Also didn't explain how the light in the room worked to me. Luckily I had seen a video on it online but would probably be very confusing your first time staying here(you have to put the key card in a holder to get the main lights to turn on)
The room was clean and had everything I needed. check out was super easy. Very close to everything. The tub was a nice size and the water got hot fast. Having to close the door while filling the tub to not set off the fire alarm was a little weird though. The bed was comfortable enough. If you like firmer mattress I think it was a good balance but if you prefer softer mattress it might take a minute to get use to. One pillow felt like it had beans in it which might just be a Japanese thing.
