Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe room got a bit hot at night (I was travelling in winter). It seems like you can't control the Temp of the room.
The room was clean and tidy with all the facilities needed. The desk in the room provided a nice location to get some work done. The hotel was very clean and well presented.

South KoreaThe room size is quite small. But it's typical among the business hotels in Tokyo. Under this price, it could be okay.
I prefer to use the sauna on the top floor. Because a shower booth in the room was so small. The location is not bad. Within 10~15 mins, it's a walking distance from the subway.

United KingdomLike all APA hotels, the combination of a low price, excellent location and well above-average comfort and facilities is why you'd want to stay here. The hotel is under 15 minutes walk from Tokyo Tower (which should be visible from several rooms, albeit not the one I booked!) and a similar distance from Roppongi Station and the Mori Tower observation deck in Roppongi Hills. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Check-in can be a little chaotic at certain times as it's quite a large hotel, so I'd advise trying to arrive a little later if your schedule allows, but that's more an observation than a criticism.

AustraliaThe rooms are small but that are amazingly functional, it’s more reflective of Japanese culture than the hotel.
Great hotel, exceptionally clean, we had 2 adjacent rooms as had a family and it worked great. Loads of towels, amazing spa and the staff were great at arranging transport for our luggage etc. Would definitely recommend for families. Right beside Tokyo tower with great view.

JapanThe check in procedure was terrible. You do it electronically and the staff seem unsure if there are problems. We wanted to split the payment and were told it was impossible, and then when I pushed further they said it is possible but I will need to see staff. When I went to see the staff they started the procedure and then said that it was not possible and we would need to pay separately for each night separately. There are FOUR washing machines for 18 floors with at least 30 rooms per floor. It is near impossible to wash your clothes. We washed them once on our 10 day trip. It took 5 hours because the dryer was terrible and wouldnt dry properly. After one cycle our clothes were still soaked. Theres an option for "dry longer" so we did this. When we went up to get our clothes they were left on top of the washing machine and a guest told us "they're done." Considering you need to put a code in, I assume a member of staff took our clothes out and just left them there without informing us. They were also still wet. The room isn't cleaned properly. The pillows are never changed. After our room was cleaned we still had pizza boxes left behind and when I took them to the cleaning staff to put in bins (there were no bins in for us to put our rubbish in) they were very rude. The hotel staff require your room to be cleaned every three days regardless of if you were requested it was cleaned the day before. If you don't request a room clean they leave a bag of toiletries outside your room including razors, cups, gowns, towels. I think by the end of it we had been given close to 13 towels each from a hotel that doesn't clean everyday due to "environmental reasons."
The room itself is small but cozy. The bed was comfortable and we had no issues with the aircon being controlled by the hotel as it was winter. It is pretty central to nice areas, and convenience stores are nearby. Check out was seamless.

AustraliaThe room was HOT (shared air conditioning). VERY hot and uncomfortable which meant that we were absolutely dying in our room; we had to open both the window and leave the door open to try and get any kind of cross-breeze as the window wasn't enough. Luckily, we went to reception and they had a fan that they gave to us for our room which helped a lot but it was still very stuffy and warm.
Absolutely amazing location; close to two or three different train stations which take you anywhere you need to go! Could not fault the location at all. The room itself and the bathroom were fantastically sized and comfortable enough; the bed was probably one of the best we had in Japan. Also, the staff were amazing. Whether it was dropping our bags off at the start of our stay, going downstairs to weigh our finished bags and/or answering questions and helping wherever possible they were honestly fantastic.
