Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI was surprised that there was no full-service restaurant in the hotel, though we found enough restaurants in the neighborhood.
Location was good, though I was a bit surprised at how far we had to walk to get to a subway station. The breakfast buffet offered enough choice and was a welcome amenity.

United KingdomThere's a no Tattoo policy on the pool. This is pretty standard in Japan, but i guess people should be aware
Roppongi is a great location.

FranceNot enough Washing Machine for the size of the Hotel. Having a place (even a small shelf) where to put clothes out of the luggage. But standard to most APA hotels unfortunately.
Roppongi is a nice place to be (lot of subway connections) Room is very small for 2 (Japanese standard), spotless clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and diverse enough. And the "onsen" (spa) is such a great relaxation time after a hard day of walk/tourism.

FinlandVery good value for money; room was compact, but super functional. Hotel has great amenities, from laundry to spa and vending machines for late night cravings. Location is perfect, just a few blocks from Roppongi lights, but enough to the side to be calm.

SerbiaI know that rooms in Japan are very small, but could be little bit bigger (I did not have so many things with me, so I had enough space). Occasional problems with wi-fi signal and streaming from phone to TV, but all of this is insignificant.
Very clean and nice room. Good neighbourhood. Modern enterier of the hotel, everything looks modern. Alltogether, it deserves excellent rating.

United StatesBed was saggy so it made things a little less than satisfactory. Overall, I wouldn't complain.
Unbeatable location, very pleasant and attentive staff. Has everything you need crammed into probably the world's smallest hotel room but I only needed a room for the night (and I only used it to sleep).

NetherlandsThe room was very small, there was no closet, no place for keeping your clothes.
Great location in Roppongi, 5min to the subway. I liked that there was a bath in the hotel and you got yukata in your room for free. Room tv shows you if the bath is busy or empty. The room was clean and quite.

SingaporeOnly central heating allowed at night. It was super warm and unbearable. Had to open the hotel window and door for some cool air and circulation. Couldn't breathe and sleep well because of the heater, even if it was turned to 16 deg.
Location was good. Near Roppongi, Azabudai Hills and Toranomon Hills

Location was good, only a few subway stops away from the center. About a hour walk from Shibuya and Shinjuku which I didn’t mind as it let me see the city. Has shops etc around and is near a mall and Tokyo tower . Would stay again

United StatesThe location isn't my favoite. Very westernized, but if that's what you're looking for this is for you...but my friends who used to live in Japan says Roppongi due to it's high western touristy vibe and expats doesn't really consider it Tokyo, and I can see what he means. It takes away from being in Japan a little. Having said that, within Roppongi it is amazingly located.
Walking into the lobby has kind of a Vegas feel to it. Super focused on the customer, clean, bright, etc. Everything was in its place at all times. They have a ton of amenities which is nice.
