United StatesThe pillows were absolutely horrible! Hard, uncomfortable and stiff. Made for a very difficult night's sleep. Also would have appreciated new water bottles to be left in room or lobby.
The bathroom amenities were wonderful. A large selection of products and we're replenished daily. It was also nice to be able to take a bath, especially after long days of walking. The check out system was great! I liked being able to deposit the hotel key into the check out box without having to wait in line to check out at the counter.

Nice almost new hotel in heart of Roppongi. Has an onsen (hot bath) and in middle of summer even a rooftop pool. Breakfast buffet is very nice. Close to many restaurants, bars, subway and Tokyo tower.

United StatesSmall rooms, even for one person, but that's typical of at least several APA hotels I've experienced in Japan. Also typical is the inflexible 3pm check-in time and and inconvenient 10am check-out time. Of all the hotels I stayed in, APA's rooms are the smallest... like a step up from capsule hotels! APA will not be my first choice, unless there is nothing else in their price range, or, I'm jonesin for a place with an onsen. This hotel was not the closest to a subway station either.
Brand new feeling and stylish with comfy beds and pillows. Holding bags prior to check-in and after check-out as well as having an onsen kinda offsets the negatives.

Very nice, small room with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. The onsen was very nice - with one bigger one inside and three outside (inclusibg two kind of hot tubs for one person) with 40-42 degrees Celcius.

CanadaThe rooms were uncomfortably hot. I understand that there is a central system and the it was unseasonably warm, but there was limited ability to cool the room. As shown the rooms are small, very small and after experiencing this I would limit the luggage brought up to the room to one bag and store the others. I was also surprised that there was no safe in the room, though they did offer to store our property - this was not really convenient. I would stay again with preparation, but my wife found it very uncomfortable.
The hotel was well located and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful answering our questions. Limited spoken english, but that was not expected.

United StatesWe got new towels and yukatas every day, but the room was not cleaned every day. On days when the front desk did offer room cleaning, it was just the bed that was made, no vacuuming or new sheets. It is OK if you stay for a few nights, but we were there for a week, so that was a bit disappointing.
First time staying in APA and was a nice surprise. The room was small (it's central Tokyo, so that's expected), but it was very functional and didn't feel too small (until 2 adults tried to walk around at the same time). Functional room. Comfortable bed (for Japan standards). Onsen in the center of the city was a nice bonus after being a tourist all day and staying out too late in Roppongi. Great location. Friendly staff. We were able to extend our reservation multiple times without problem and maintain good rate. Rooms are sound proof. Never heard any other guests. Surprisingly quiet. Had a room on the 17th floor with a view of Tokyo Tower.

United StatesFirst couple of nights there was no AC and the room was far too warm to sleep. Opening the window was not an option due to the noise. They fixed this the third night. Shower head was broken but they came and fixed that right away. If you call them they charge you per minute to speak to a person ..
The room was small but comfortable. For business traveler it was nice to see they had a lot of outlets to plug in chargers etc.. they also had USB and universal outlets. They had a lot of hangers and hooks for clothing. The desk was useable size and the razor and toothbrush were both good. Free VOD was a nice bonus.

United StatesRooms are a bit tight for two people and their bags. Breakfast room a bit tight also, but in Japan things are smaller in general. I recommend carry-on to make your life easier in general.
Hotel is new (Feb 2023), good location close to transportation. Onsen was very nice and clean. Great if you’re traveling solo. Good price compared to other hotels in Tokyo. I enjoyed the stay at Apa. beware regarding the address as there a 3 Apa hotels in the area.
