Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room were extremely small! There is not enough space for 2 person and luggage. The heating was too hot! We can’t control the heating from our room as it was centralised. The windows are locked as well so we cannot open if too hot in the room. Our room faced the train lines which was very noisy until train stops running at midnight. The pillows were like sand bags…very thin and hard.
The location was good. It was near the Kanda station & walking distant to Akihabara. It had ball restaurants just outside and 7eleven convenient store nearby.

United KingdomIt was the worst APA HOTEL I’ve been at (out of 7), no facilities whatsoever, bad breakfast (sausages rice and broth) at reduced times compared to all the other APAs, and unfriendly staff. Overall my stay was ok because I only went back to sleep, but would stay again. Also WiFi comes and goes.
Only good things about it was that it was half empty and that it was very close to the subway

United KingdomI’ve stayed at 7 different APA’s during my travels in Japan, this has been the worst. Bathroom smells, mattresses older and softer than all the others, absolutely no facilities. Worst thing if all is breakfast: a plate of sausages and rice, or beef broth, no choice whatsoever. Also, internet comes and goes. Stayed at other two APA’s in Tokyo and were both magnificent.
Position is ok, close to the station.

SpainI loved everything
All. Really close from Kanda Station, in a nice street with plenty of options for dinner, love the area. The hotel has everything you might need, the room it’s not big but more than enough, and personally I found the bed and pillow specially comfortable. I will be back in this hotel for sure. The personal was just magnificent, they were very kind and helpful with my inquiries, thanks a lot to everyone (I am the one that ask for the pillow 🤣, thanks again)

United StatesThe small was space but it was expected and sufficient space for couple nights stay and carry-on luggage.
Location is good, near Kanda Station, walkable to Akihabara, near lots of restaurants and close to convenient store. The facility itself is clean, provides necessary bathroom amenities.

SingaporeThe room and the toilet are very small. It is only good for a single occupant and not for two persons. If you use the dresser chair there is no more space for the second person to move around and he'll be stuck on the bed and wait for other person to finish whatever he does and go to the bed before the second person can move. As for the toilet, if you are 6 footer, good luck, it will be talent portion to position yourself 😂
The location is near the train station and has restaurants nearby. The satffs are also friendly. The breakfast is nice and delicious.

ItalyThe room was not very clean, the tap of the bathroom was not working properly, is impossible to open the window, and the air conditioning is not properly positioned, because air arrives in front of your face the whole night.
Very nice the position of the hotel, the breakfast is nice, even though there is no buffet. The welcome is good as all the Japanese hotels

AustraliaI didn't like the pillows, but soon came to realise that the pillows in all the hotels were the same. They are flat or big and quite hard and the underside (or is it the topside) is full of beans or some kinds of hard balls.
This was our first Japanese hotel and I was surprised what they can fit in such a compact space. The bed was comfortable and as we were out and about each day the small space was not a problem. The laundry rooms had washer/dryer machines that were the cheapest I have ever used. We had breakfast included and after some confusion on morning one as to how the process worked, google translate came to the rescue, and we settled in. Each morning you received a breakast plate of a strange mix of salad, pickled veggies, cold meat, hot meat or chicken rissole and egg roll, all of which were very tasty. There was also tea, coffee, miso, curry, rice and a small selection of breads. The train station was only five minutes walk away, but then the main centre of Tokyo, Parks and the Zoo at Ueno were within 2 kms - so also very walkable. Many small food places were in the surrounding streets.
