Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceBed very comfortable. Room very clean. Pretty quiet overall. Rooms are small. Okay for 1 person but for 2, consider double room. Toilets amazing! Breakfast not good value. Too expensive and not very good. Staff polite, respectful, helpful, respects privacy and gives indications. Thank you.

Though small in size, the room is comfortable and furnishings were good. The hotel is well-located near metro stations which makes it convenient to move around the city. There are also restaurants and convenience store within walking distance.

AustraliaSmall room. Was just ok for one but it would be really cramped for two.
Breakfast is important to me and I thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese dishes. Good variety - I was only there 2 nights but noticed some things differed. Room well equipped - they pack it all in!

NetherlandsVery nice and accommodating staff. We checked in and were surprised with a super cozy hotel room. Perfectly situated in the city, via the ginza or marunouchi line, it's easy to get to parts of Tokyo. The room itself is clean, up to date and has all the amenities you can wish for, from toothbrushes, all sorts of washcloths and towels, to razers etc. Also provided is a fresh set of coffee pods everyday, perfect before hitting the town. We had some extra requests which were taken care off perfectly. All in all, a recommendation.

CyprusThe room was very small (however it may be that we're not used to Japanese hotels), so with our luggage and there being two of us, it was sometimes hard to manage the space. The bathroom was also quite small, so the desk in the bedroom became the only workable surface we had to place our things (meaning it got quite cluttered). We needed to keep our suitcases under the bed, which meant that getting anything out of them took a bit of effort each time.
The staff were so friendly. We don't speak barely any Japanese but they accommodated us well. The room was stocked well and thoughtfully, with a large TV. The under bed space was a good way to keep suitcases out of the way. Good value for the price for sure - a lot cheaper than other hotels, and still a great standard.

AustraliaThe location was very quiet there was not a lot around however you could walk or get the metro easily.
As far as Japanese hotel rooms go we think it was a decent size and luggage could be stored under the bed. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was good and hot.

KuwaitThe tv being automatically turned on and ads being displayed everytime you enter the room is the biggest downside. You can easily turn it off. or mute it. But many times the wifi also turn off when you turn the tv off.
Honestly my biggest surprise is the room space, I thought of changing it to due to the size and the 2 large suitcases I had, I didn't want to struggle opening them, However I was surprised that I was able to open both of them without much struggle, Even tho I struggle to do so with a same size room before. I think the design of the room being compact made the difference. Location wise. Its 5min walk from a metro station with 4 lines that lead you anywhere in tokyo, The area around the hotel is more of a hotels and business area than touristy and market places, However that's Not a downside. And the value for the price i paid for was amazing, However after booking the price skyrocketed, So consider the nightly cost of the room before booking.

United KingdomCompared to my previous stay at an APA Hotel in Osaka my only negatives about this one are little nit picks, no heated toilet seat, there is a step to get into the bathroom which could be dangerous if you need to get up during the night, the plug sockets built into the beds headboard aren’t equipped with usbc unlike the APA hotel in Osaka and lastly no option for purchasing breakfast tickets when first checking in
I liked the room, having stayed in APA hotel in Osaka, the room was just as good with some elements that were done better. The bedding was more comfortable, the complimentary drinks where a nice touch and the location is perfect as is right opposite a train station and a short walk from a 7/11 for convenience

One of the fancier hotels I stayed in. Well worth the price. Very safe surroundings - would recommend this area, particularly for solo [female] travellers. Luxurious room. Plenty of amenities. Good size bathroom. Very happy to have a large TV above the bed with casting ability.

New ZealandI didn't like that the onsen isn't tattoo friendly, I understand that they are considering all customers, but people with tattoos are customers too. Covering your body in tap isn't ideal as they just slip off after a getting into the onsen.
I liked the friendly environment it has. The rooms are spacious and that the rooms are cleaned regularly and throughly.
