Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe space of the room, honestly was a bit small, in a specific situation like 2 big luggage and 2 backpacks it is quite difficult to place them in the limited space you have. From the pictures the rooms were looking a bit bigger than they were in reality.
The location is awesome, you are able to reach the station of Kanda extremely fast, and also Akihabara area. There are several restaurants where you can eat each kind of food in the surrounding area. The room is extremely clean, well kept, well organized and presented. Noises from the outside are very limited and you can barely hear the traffic when the window is closed. Also blinds were very welcomed. Toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers included and changed daily. The blankets are always very clean and soft. In the lobby you find other stuff that you can freely use, like combs and other self care tools. The staff was very kind and they let us keep the luggage at the reception after the check out.

CanadaNo complaints.
Excellent hotel in a quiet part of Tokyo. Short walk from a metro station and Akihabara area. Reception staff were very friendly, helpful, spoke excellent English and allowed for us to store our luggage before check-in. Room was Japanese standard business size and was modern and clean with a comfy bed.

GreeceThis was my second time staying at Belken Hotel Kanda, and as with the first time the overall experience met my expectations. This is a no-frills hotel with everything and anything you may need for a short stay in Tokyo, extremely well located in my view and if you are aiming to be spending a little more time in Akihabara, and also well connected to the rest of Tokyo. The closest Marunouchi line station is a few minutes away and if you have an early Shinkan-sen to catch from Tokyo station and would rather walk the distance, this is absolutely manageable (ca. 30 minutes). The staff were ever so helpful with TaQBin requests, and prices have remained reasonable (in contrast with other hotels in the area). Would definitely recommend this hotel - fantastic value for money.

United StatesThe room is very small, makes it hard to walk around with luggage laying around.
We stayed here for 2 nights and the bed is very comfortable. It's a 10-15 mins walk to Akhihabara, the Marunouchi Line is next to the hotel and it's a 8-10 mins walk to JR lines.

United StatesI booked a single room and it was pretty small, but that is pretty much on par with what you get anywhere else in Japan. I liked that the headrest has a outlets and light controls. The room was fairly modern in style but I didn't have a view, but that is ok as I was mostly out exploring the city.
It is literally around the corner from the red subway line (Marunouchi line). To get to Akihabara, its about a 10-15 minute walk. There is no subway that would go there from the hotel, but technically it's not too far of a walk. A 7-11 is literally right across the street from the hotel, and a two Familymart are down the block (prob 5 mins). There are two laundry machines, and it cost (if I remember correctly 600 yen, for wash + dry (detergent is included)).

AustraliaPersonally prefer wooden floor over carpet but could understand the use of carpet for sound barrier and cold winter.
- Very close to 4 different lines of train/subway. - opposite of the hotel there are seven eleven, several coffee shops, pharmacy, a few eateries. Very convenient - the price is reasonable for Tokyo - standard room size for Tokyo - the lounge is comfortable with drink machine - free personal utilities including bath salt - clean - friendly staff

SingaporeNothing! I had pleasant stay :)
The hotel sure looks new and the room was comfortable and toilet was clean! Free coffee, tea and water dispenser at lobby. 7-11 just right around the corner, the nearest metro is 5 mins walk from the exit. 10-15 mins walk away from Akihabara area, also about 10 mins walk to Kanda station which you can transfer from/to Haneda airport monorail. Absolutely worth to stay here!

NetherlandsNothing really other than the fact that there was no option for 'wash only' for the coin laundry. Give this hotel a try! We were very much satisfied with everything.
Everything was good! First, location was prime because it's only 1-minute walk from the Awajicho metro stop (red line) and only 5-minute walk from the yellow and green line (can't remember the names). Second, staff were polite, professional, despite their limited ability to speak English. But these days we can always use the translation apps. And this is not a 5-star hotel so we can't really expect them to speak excellent English. Third, we booked the bigger room and it was very clean and every day we got new towels and pyjamas, which were not necessary. But they did it anyway. We chose for our room not to be made up for our 7-day stay. And the reward for that was that we got 2 free bottles of water for 6 days. If you could get the bigger room and have the budget for it, do it. The smaller rooms were really small in our opinion. Fourth, the coin laundry was very affordable and there's 711 just in front of the hotel. The neighbourhood was very quiet, which we wanted, despite its rather close proximity to Akibahara and Nihombashi. Fifth, value for money was excellent. We booked it around 3 months in advance.

Australia-
The room is perfect. It is little bit small, but I guess it is a standard size for Tokyo. Besides, you got everything you need. The room is spotless, and there are lots of amenities provided. The location is not too bad. It is in walking distance to Kanda train station, and few metro stations nearby.
