Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesThe smell of indian food coming in the entrance. It is delicious but after staying a few days it made me detest the smell.
Excellent location with multiple combinis, fastfood chains and izakayas surrounding the hotel. I love the capsule machines right across the street. i love the wide bathrooms.

AustraliaThe laundry facilities dryers weren't that effective. The room is on the smaller side.
The room was comfortable and it's right next to Asakusabashi station. The bathroom is clean and large. The robots are a fun edition, although I was a little creeped out by them.

United Kingdombooked a twin room with sofa bed, because we had a traveller under 6 we were told that we could have any cover, pillow or quilt for the sofa bed as under 6 are free!?! for a 3 night stay and when specifically booking the room for this purpose, I was so disappointed with this customer service - will not stay at a henn na hotel again.

United StatesSmall. We were always in the way of one another in our room. Gladly we mostly only expected to sleep.
The family found the robot receptionists fun to see. Clean. Well located near a stop. Simple.

Spainthe room was very small (normal for japan but small if you’re used to europe) and the bathroom too there’s nothing really in walking distance other than akihabara (~15min) and more or less asakusa (~25min), things are further than they seem on the map (the streets are LONG) there was an lg styler in our room which kind of freshens up the clothes but not much
it’s close to akihabara station (a big one, 15min walking) and asakusabashi (has 2-3 lines, 2min walking) so it doesn’t take too long to commute to touristic places, the area felt very safe and there are a lot of small restaurants around which were cheap and really good and felt pretty authentic the bed was big (bigger than we expected) and comfortable, it has a small bathtub and a japanese toilet with the water thing everything was super clean and we got our room cleaned every day with towels and amenities changed (the razors are at the reception, you have to pock them up there) and the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were good and smell amazing really good for the price you pay the robots at the reception were cute

CanadaWish the room was bigger for the amount of luggage we had. It was hard to move around in the room.
Asakusabashi was an amazing location to stay for our first time in Tokyo. It's close to two train lines and only one stop over from Akihabara without the hustle and bustle. It's also a minute walk away from a Lawsons for snacks.

ItalyAll the signs are barely translated in English and basically there is no staff if you want to ask some info. The check in and check out are automated though a machine. I didn't try the restaurant, but I noticed that is Indian, so maybe not the best if you want to try the local cuisine.
The hotel is cozy and fully equipped with all comforts. I got a small room, but I had everything I needed for a short stay and for a very fair price. The hotel is in the area of Asakusabashi, where it is easy to reach Haneda airport with a direct train and also the train station in Akihabara. I recommend it

GermanyWhile the robot concierge might be really cool for some, I found it strange. maybe because the cleaning staff was human, while the concierge was all tech-powered.
The room was small but very clean and the location is great. It was great value for money for us, as we only stayed there for 2 nights before heading to other locations. The hotel is very close the the Asakusabashi station, on the Asakusa line, which gets you to Narita airport effortlessly.

NetherlandsVery (unacceptably) dusty upon arrival, better after first cleaning pass. (Understandably) cramped. Very hard bed, had good rest, but needs extra padding to be comfortable to sleep on side.
Accessible station. Fair amenities (razor could be better), good bathroom/washlet & LG styler. Chromecast available, decent WiFi. USB-A QC port at bedside. Adjustable showerhead (apparently uncommon?).

BrazilMy room esse a little dusty on the roof and the bathroom had a lot of hair preventing drainage. The desk was a little worn out also. The breakfast wasn’t too much attractive, I preferred grabbing something from 7 eleven.
Great location, robots are a fun experience!
