Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong KongIt’s near to Haneda Airport. I arrived late and so it’s a good place to stay the night. There are also convenience stores on the way. The check-in was fast and efficient.

ItalyWe chose this hotel because of its free shuttle bus service to Haneda airport. As the hotel says, there is not big availability for the minibus so we had to wake up very early to stay in the line for the shuttle bus service.
The reception with robots. Actually the robots did not do anything and you communicate with small machine. It was very easy self-check-in. We arrived at 3pm and walked around the area. There are many shops, restaurants and shrines around. The free airport shuttle service is good.

United KingdomLimited info about the shuttle at check in - I looked online for the timetable, and got there 10 mins before - luckily there was space. Defo check the timings and get there in good time!
Very good facilities in the room, perfect for a stay before the airport. Location was good, and there were convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Shuttle was good in the morning too.

AustraliaShuttle bus from airport as promised never showed up for afternoon service. Waited 2 hours at pick up location as per instructed, no one showed up. Attempted to call the hotel, went straight to mail box and at the end the automated answer was referring to the website instruction. What a disappointment after a long flight.
The only good thing was the location. Super close to train station.

AustraliaMy goodness the bed and pillow was hard. I stayed in an Airbnb on a floor mattress, and a ryokan on a futon on the floor - and this hotel with its western beds was still the most uncomfy sleep for me on the whole trip. Was glad it was only our last night before flying out.
Shuttle service to airport was very welcome. It was close to a train station with an easy walk with our luggage. The Dino check in was a bit of fun. Super clean. Super quiet. Checkout was very efficient and quick. All a very business like experience.

IsraelThe only obvious drawback of the hotel is the complete lack of staff at the reception. The staff there is replaced by some stupid dinosaurs. Maybe at first it seems interesting, but then it starts to irritate, for the simple reason that dinosaurs do not answer questions if you have some. True, given the almost complete lack of basic English skills among Japanese hotel staff, perhaps a dinosaur is not such a bad alternative.
Of course, the main advantage of this hotel is the availability of a shuttle that will take you from Haneda Airport to the hotel and vice versa. Moreover, if at other airport hotels the shuttle runs until 8-11 PM, here it runs until 1AM, which is a very important advantage and determined my choice. Otherwise, this is a fairly traditional Japanese business hotel with small but clean rooms. I can especially note the presence of a steam clothes freshener, which is very useful for a traveler after a long flight.

United KingdomNot sure what rating to give staff, as I only saw one there and didn't need to interact with them. Not sure how available they will be if there are any issues?
The novelty of self check-in with robotics greeting you at the front desk is definitely something different! The process was actually quite seamless and there were a lot of books that guests could read. The hotel has a free bus shuttle to Haneda airport which typically runs every hour and is first come first serve, but if you miss it or if there is too many people in front of you, the train station is ~10mins walk away and is very convenient to Haneda airport!

MalaysiaReception had creepy robot dinosaurs 🤣. Some people may like it but they give me the creeps. Rooms are slightly small, mostly good for airport hotel.
Logistics is very good for late night fliers. The shuttle bus goes into 1:30 A.M. which is good for those who arrive late.

United KingdomThe lack of staff, you only get to talk to a couple of dinosaurs and a puppet. The checkin instructions are fairly clear though and there is a phone you can use to talk to a real person 24h/day but it's so much easier to talk to someone in person, especially if you want to ask for a nearby parking space or other things. The parking space is fairly limited (6-7 cars I think) and the description on Booking.com states "reservation is needed" but it's unclear to me how this would work since there's no staff to tell you which space you reserved and any one can park in any slot. My recommendation is not to drive to this hotel or bring plenty of cash for some nearby car parks.
Clean hotel, close to the Haneda airport and shuttle available. We did not try the breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning. At check-in, if you travel in group, I suggest to get two door cards at least when asked. You need one to keep the lights on in the room if you go out and members of your party are still in. Some small downsides below but otherwise I'd stay at this hotel again if I need to fly early in the morning.
