You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very cosy and well fitted. Near to train station thus easy access to the rest of Tokyo. Staff were superb and did they all to assist us where needed.

Pristine quiet luxury stay with top quality amenity offerings and service staff. Amazing location in safe clean neighborhood with numerous dining and bar options and multiple nearby metro line options.

There was nothing not to like. It exceeded my expectations.
Great location, very comfortable and efficient quiet room, super clean, excellent sumptuous breakfast buffet every day, and very helpful friendly staff. Will stay there again on my next visit to Tokyo.

The onsen can get really crowded at times so do take note.
Its easy to find, clean and the staff there are lovely. The onsen is amazing too.

Rooms were small, as to be expected in Tokyo. Didn’t bother us too much, but we didn’t have a ‘big suitcase’ and have seen other reviews that say it was difficult with one.
The onsen was an amazing touch. Close to 3 metro lines and an overground. Really easy to Shinjuku and shibuya. Nice neighbourhood with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. We walked to Tokyo tower in about 30 mins.

Beautiful and modern design with touches of Japanese aesthetic combined to make an amazing hotel! Service was very friendly and polite, and they speak very good English if you need assistance. They have free water and tea downstairs, and a bathroom gender separated on the top floor. Very comfy and clean rooms in a great location. Minutes walk from metro and delicious food right out the door. Highly recommend!

The rooms are very compact and the bathroom was tiny.
The location was great. Close to 2 stations on different lines which made it very easy to get around. There is a lot of bars and restaurants in the area as well as 7-11's and food marts. The on-site onsen and sauna are amazing. Breakfast was great with a good variety and all of the staff were very helpful and happy.

The room is too small for two people. The sink was outside of the bathroom. Barely any space to move around if you are traveling with someone else and have large luggages.
The hotel is nice. Staff were nice and helpful

We loved everything
Our first time in Tokyo and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision to stay here! Akasaka is a beautiful, clean and cool area with lots of amazing restaurants on the same street as the hotel. The train station is a few minutes walk and only a few stops away from the popular Shibuya. Everything about the hotel was incredible. The location, the room itself and the staff was all better than we could have hoped for. 10/10! We are a couple travelling the world and this is the best hotel we have stayed in during our travels so far. We was sad to leave!

Bathroom door is frosted glass and a bit see through but also a public bathroom down stairs that can be used if this is an issue.
Great location, staff are so lovely and friendly - rooms are clean and comfy - rooftop is nice as well and has heating up there for those travelling in winter!

Good breakfast and most of the hotel staff are well spoken in English. Surprisingly the hotel in the city has hot spring facilities. Will come back again next time!

Room size could have been bigger. The toilet had a certain smell.
My daughter and I enjoyed the clean room, comfortable beds and we also liked the Japanese design of the room and lobby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect!
