But it's still walkable. The hotel is very quiet even in the cafe/front desk area. It's not that bad but people respect each other, I think. Somehow, that silence make me tensed lol.
Even though I stay in dormitory room but the bed for each person are really private. The bathroom, restroom, the room with sinks and mirrors are always clean and there is enough facility. No queue appear at all:D Reasonable price and safety.

Be mindful that check-in starts at 4pm which is ridiculous for anyone landing early in the morning as was the case with my itinerary.
What definitely made my stay was the friendly receptionist. He was very friendly and accomodating enough to understand my situation whereby I had to check-in and check-out of my room on the same day. It allowed me to rest for a few hours and take a nice hot shower before my connecting flight. Would definitely come back again.

Singapore3 Reviews“Spacious room for big groups”Stayed for 2 nights, and it was great for the price point. The room was clean, quite spacious (we opted for the room for six pax), and it has a lobby for guests to sit and get some drinks. The front counter staff was courteous – one of my travel pals managed to borrow a luggage weighing scale, no questions asked. Also, the location is convenient – it sits next to the Ueno Station.

Location. very close to Ueno JR station Iriya gate. Price, quite affordable for this location. Bear in mind that Iriya gate is in the quiet back side of the Ueno station.
