Loved the location, super easy to get to anywhere, 30 second walk to Keihan subway, quiet neighbourhood, close to Gion. Great restaurants and bars nearby. Very comfortable room, bed and pillows, lovely helpful staff. Patio was a little dirty but when pointed out the staff immediately cleaned it so all good. Everything else was perfect.

(+) Comfortable hotel, in a nice and quite neighbourhood, not too far away by foot to Kyoto station (~15min). Friendly staff, kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge, and a washing machine. Free coffee in the morning at the reception. (-) It lacked some space to put the luggage and clothes (no cupboard). Thin walls, and windows, as it is most often the case in Japan / can be cold..

The room is very spacious. They have almost everything we need. The location is also very near the bus and train station, convenience store and cafe and restaurants. It would have been perfect if they have luggage transfer service like the other hotels that we stayed at.

A TV format that would provide a streaming option for casting or logging into your own account to watch content such as Netflix, Prime, Max, etc would be very nice since all TV options are Japanese only. Also the noise from outside and other rooms transfers into the room a bit more than I would like.

The staff was really nice and helpful. Unit was extremely clean and has everything you need for extended stay. Great location.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, as we’re used to smaller hotel rooms in Japan. This one is a self-contained unit, offering more space and comfort. While it’s on the pricier side, you definitely get value for your money. The location is great, with easy access to both the train and bus stations. The staff is outstanding—they are always happy to assist and offer excellent recommendations for things to do around Kyoto.

Large rooms!!! Has laundry, decent sized fridge, stove top and microwave. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Kids said best hotel during our trip. Mcdonalds and family mart are close by. Nice cafes are just around the corner. Bus stop and trains are just few meters away. Highly recommended.

Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Hopefully they can provide Yamato services in the future. Otherwise our overall stay was exceptional.

Personally I have very light sleep and the soundproof of the walls is not the best, so expect to ear guest next door cooking or talkin. Tv did not have many options to watch.

The Hotel is located in a traditional Japanese neighborhood in Kyoto which make you experience a bit of Japanese vibe. It is 20 minutes walking for Kyoto station. There are convenient stores (Seven - Eleven, Family Mart, Lawson), cafes, restaurants, Mc Donald's in the area, so you will find different option either for eating or drinking. Hotel is very close to different attractions like markets, shires and temples. There is a subway station 4 minutes away. Room was spacious and well equipped. The is a kitchenette, fridge and even a washing machine. The mattress was very comfortable, had a great sleep. The guys form the reception were amazing, all of them were very polite and smile all the time. I really recommend this hotel for your staying in Kioto.

The place was massive compared to places we stayed in Tokyo. It was close to a train station and bus stop so easy to get around. We had a washing machine which was amazing.

This place feels a little bit luxurious. The decor is nice, the main room has good space and there’s a separate kitchen/laundry area between the bedroom and the bathroom. We found the area accessible to public transport, quiet and pleasant, and it had plenty of convenience stores as well as nice restaurants and a lovely bakery

We appreciate the washer but thought there was a dryer (combo) but the drying rack worked just fine.

The location was very convenient to all the attractions we wanted to visit. A nearby convenience store, amazing bakery shop, and yummy cafe were a bonus. Only a minute's walk. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was simple, very clean, and had all the amenities. The hotel rates were more than reasonable. We especially loved meeting with Amy one of the front desk staff (very helpful and kind) and Shun. If you like to run, you could run along the Kamo River which is one 1-2min away.
