Location was ok but still had to walk several blocks to a subway station
Everything was great. Japanese decor very appropriate. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom (tv in the bath). Sofa and table. Spacious for Japanese standards.

The location was good: near to Nijo Castle and 20min walk from the center and at the same time in a quiet neighbor. The size of the room was very good for the three of us. There was even a couch with a table. Having the washing machine in the room was very appreciated.

The water is too cold, vut that's not that big of an issue.

The cleanliness was ok but could have been better. Please be aware that it’s a self check in hotel with no common areas.
The location was good even though it was not close to the main tourist area of Gion. The size was very good for the three of us. There was even a couch with a table. Having the washing machine in the room was very handy.

the booklet translation in English was limited and sometimes it more like trial and error to understand how they work a bit noisy from the above floor I had a quadruple room that could fit 3 people, four would be too tight.
Conveniently located in quite chic neighborhood, close to buses, metro, Imperial garden and Nijo castle, many restaurants nearby. The room had plenty of amenities and a booklet was provided to use several appliances available. Checkin and out in a blink

We were required to carry down the trash.
The late night check-in was uncomplicated. The bed was very comfortable. There was a small TV in the bathroom. It was very clean and the location is central.

Very nice hotel, the rooms are comfortable to stay in, and the room is reasonably large enough. It's also not far from the city center, it's around a 20 minute walk. There are also convenience stores and supermarkets within a 3-5 min walking distance, so it's very convenient.

They didn't have a copy machine and we had to photocopy our passports on our own, which was inconvenient.
Great location near Nijo castle and the Imperial Palace. Helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Free umbrellas to borrow.

We loved this hotel! The room was spacious, super clean and cosy! The beds were so comfortable. We also loved the little kitchen, washing machine and microwave! The staff was super friendly and very responsive!! Bus and subway stations are in walking distance. We really recommend this hotel!! Thank you for your hospitality!

Not really suitable for a family as when you fold out the couch for the extra bed it was then dangerous to walk past as I felt I would possibly knock the tv off the wall. The bath mat was yellow and dirty The shampoo, conditioner and body wash was so watered down it was almost unusable

The room for three people was a bit small, but to be expected for a major city like Kyoto. However, overall there really isn't much to criticise.
The location was good, with Nijo Castle being a short walk away, but the closest station was a metro (Karasuma Oike) that was a fair distance away. Neighbourhood was quiet and safe, with access to eateries and convenience stores also near the metro station. There was access to a washing machine with clear instructions on how to operate it, and also the ventilation system in the bathroom was perfect for drying our clothes.
