CanadaVery close to the metro, and a short walk to Gion. Easy check-in, and you can store your luggage for free. Very little space in the room for your shoes and luggage, even by Japan standards. Toilet, sink and shower have no separation.

United StatesThe people above us were very loud. It sounded like they were stomping the entire time. Not sure if that is an issue with the hotel or those guests.
Great location with a nice kitchenette to use. You don’t always see the staff there, but it is that kind of hotel. It’s more let you do your own thing. They don’t bring you clean towels and stuff daily because you can do it yourself in the rooms washer. It is also very close to a small subway station and little shops. It was very convenient to go to some of the tourist sites in Kyoto either by walking, bus, or subway.

AustraliaOne night, around 2:30 am, I was woken up by a group of people walking past the street and talking quite loudly. It was a bit disruptive, especially since I was hoping for a peaceful night. They didn't seem to be Japanese, which added to the surprise. Despite this little hiccup, I enjoyed my overall stay!
It’s conveniently located really close to the train station and bus stops, which made it super easy for us to explore the area. Plus, there’s a combini and a supermarket just a short walk away, so we had everything we needed right at our fingertips. So far, I have to say that Kyoto has become my favorite city out of the three I’ve visited in Japan. I can't wait to come back!

Friendly staff, room comfortable, space enough to feel comfortable, spacious bathroom and really cozy bathtub. My family and I really enjoyed our time in Kyoto. Normally I don’t leave reviews but we really liked this hotel. Recommended 100% :) .

Japan4th time staying here. Great location. Quiet and close to public transport. Our room felt really hot this time around even when the a/c was off. The shared areas are kept very warm so this could be why. The washing machine and dry facilities in the bathroom are so handy.

I really enjoyed my stay here. This place was walkable to a lot of restaurants, convenient stores, and a little night life city which I really enjoyed. The area around the hotel was so nice and peaceful, with a little river just a few minutes away was so nice. The hotel itself was also very comfortable and very clean. There was enough space for the 3 of us and I loved how the hotel provided a washer to wash our clothes. I also really appreciate that the hotel was able to hold onto our luggage’s before and after checking in/out. I wished I stayed here just a few more days to enjoy my stay, whenever I come back to Kyoto I will definitely come back to stay here.
