Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had to rearrange our stay last minute due to a flight cancellation and they accommodated amazingly. It is a small room with very little space, but for the price, location and fact you're in Tokyo there's not a single complaint about size. Same with bed hardness, again. You are in japan so you expect things to be different and they can't magically suit everyone's preferences from around the world. The bed is fine and does the job, no bad seams or lumps. Loads of free options and if you want anything better for breakfast than what they provide for free (which isn't much but it's free so lovely of them) then there are 7/11 and family mart close by. If you're needing a place to crash out after a busy day this hotel is perfect. If you're looking for a luxury hotel to relax in, I don't know why you'd look at the price offered by this hotel.

ArgentinaThe breakfast food is very limited but ok. The place to eat it is nice but not adequate. Our room was 20 m2 but was full of unnecessary furniture that took very precious space away. You can't control the ventilation or temperature in the room. The ventilation is extremely noisy. Our closet had a light that never turned off. The bed is not that big. The room light switches were hard to reach.
The amenities are amazing. The massage chairs are great. Also you get a foot massager in the room. The room's bathroom is one of the best we had in Japan. Breakfast till 2 PM. Great tea selection. The staff doesn't speak English but technology saves the day perfectly. Did I mention the amenities were the best?

United StatesI liked the location. Close to subway. Rooms were small, barely big enough to dress. Bed took up most of the room. Breakfast was okay. Tea was nice. I didn’t get into the rice ball with toppings so some more American options would have been nice, including some fresh fruit.

United StatesThe bed was a little more firm than I normally like and there was some little bits of trash in the room that were under the table.
The location and price for this hotel is amazing! The amount of space in the rooms are pretty good given the size constraints. The shower and little exterior soaking tub was nice for relaxing at the end of the day. I would plan on coming back here. There was some food for breakfast and the free food/drinks was a nice plus.

PortugalSome front desk members have a very basic english knowledge. The room has small and had a strange layout with a step between the entrance and bedroom (not comfortable for people with mobility dificulties). Breakfast options were very limited.
Quiet street but walking distance to the busiest part of Shinjuku. Lots of free amenities in room and lobby.

United StatesYou need to specifically specify that you want a non-smoking room. As an American, I was used to that being the norm but it’s not the case here. Hotel staff moved us to a non smoking room for night 2.
Very helpful staff, amazing amenities, can have a real spa bath experience, fun breakfast options (you can make your own onigiri)

United KingdomRoom is quite small - comfortable for one person but two people and associated luggage would be difficult for a long period of time.
The attention to detail within the room and hotel generally was excellent, including free breakfast, drinks and massage chair. Bathroom was compact but everything was provided.

AustraliaCleanliness a bit of a problem. Some surfaces seem to have been never dusted before (DVD player, under/behind TV, window sill, wooden feature on the wall above the bed). Some hairs lingering on bedding and in the bathtub, faucets a bit grimey.
Great range of facilities in the lobby, staff very helpful and friendly.
