I booked the hostel because I needed to leave my previous, so this was last minute reservation. It wored out. Good place, great location, personal was nice.

It could do with a deep clean. The place smells quite damp and there are patches of mold in the bathrooms and on the shower mats.

Friendly checkin staff on arrival. The bed in the capsule was very comfortable. Location is very convenient close to Ueno station.

I hate those bead pillows.

The staff were super helpful in changing my bed after I was unable to get into one of the higher ones.

Pillows are a bit hard, though not solid. I slept fine with them once I found a comfortable spot. No dedicated space to hang shower towels. Had to get a bit creative on getting them some air to dry.

Good location. Restaurants, convenience stores, and the station within a 10 minute walk. Ueno Park in the area too if you don’t want to commute anywhere. Facilities are kept clean daily. Showers had great water pressure and heat control. Plenty of toilets. No wait time, normally. The beds are roomier and more private than expected, despite how they look. Plenty of charging ports and personal fan for the room is really nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very willing to answer any questions you have and listen to any concerns. They made the stay very cozy and welcoming for me.

No dedicated space for luggage, you have to keep it next to the beds and there’s hardly any space. Has damp smell Noisy if assigned bed next to the door/bathroom

The cube areas where you sleep. Feel so so tiny and squeezed. My main issue is that there is no where to keep your luggage so everyone just packs it into the corner of the room and it's messy as I found.

The location.. And the showers. Those showers blast 😂 But in all seriousness Ueno is a solid area to stay.

For some reason, there are a lot of water droplets on the walls in the morning. If you stay in the room at the very end and hang your coat on the wall, it will get completely soaked. The shoe cabinet smells terrible and doesn't have enough space, so everyone ends up leaving their shoes outside.

For the price, there's really nothing to complain about. It's very close to JR Ueno Station.

Everything was clean, the matress was thick abd the staff was nice.

200 Yen charged per person to keep the luggage(s) before check-in even the same day).No ice making machine. Only microwave oven, hot water., fridge provided at the lobby. No urinal. Shower rooms doors were difficult to lock. Water flow in show room were OK but not that strong as compare to other hotels/hostels in my experience.

Quiet atmosphere. Ample lobby space. The front personnel are fluent in English.

The rooms had a slight smell at times and the floors weren't completely clean but slippers helped a lot.

the rooms we're reallly loud at night every time talking banging Doors and so on. the Hotel staff begann cleaning at 8 o clock. Bed reallly soft if you are over 80 kg IT is to soft.
