Some roommate ware a shoes in the room and I don’t know why they can open the emergency exit all night.

Can’t move that much since you need to be sooo quite as to not disturb others. Its already a given when you stay in places like this

I stayed at the end of March and there were some days where the temperature was around 20 degrees. During those days, the capsule was a bit too hot, despite the weak AC.

Excellent location in Ueno, close to Asakusa. Overall clean and comfortable.

They charge you 200 yen to store your luggage if you arrive before 3pm. The rooms would get really hot at night. Even with fans, there was no air flow and it always felt hot and humid. They give "free" services to people if you write a positive review of the hostel, which seems disingenuous and manipulative for travelers.

It was pretty clean and well maintained.

Room can get hot and feel a bit stuffy if 6 or more people stay in the same floor.

Staffs are super nice and helpful, they can speak english too which is very helpful. Room is clean and shared washrooms are well maintained. Wifi is good which is a plus. Location is convenient as 7 ish minutes from nearest station

good value. A bit far from Ueno station even if it ways only 4 mins walk from the exit; the Ueno station is pretty large and the exit itself it far from the train. But it's ok at least you're walking indoor

The ladders to get into the bunk beds aren’t truly ladders and are kind of dangerous to use. They are more like shelves for books.

When some guests had their phone alarm on for a long time and later came to turn it off.

I liked the bed I slept on. The hot showers I could take at night. The electronic toilets. The vending machines to buy snacks and drinks. And the kind receptionists that were able to speak English to help me.

The lounge area is small and the kitchen facilities are very basic - you can reheat a meal, get hot and cold water, but that's about it. There is only a small locker above each bed, not even big enough for a handbag. The floor gets a bit crowded with luggage and you have to make a judgement call whether your items are safe to be left whilst you go outside (mine were).

It's convenient to get to Ueno station and I like the style of the place. All of the usual extras are there (towel, hair dryer, shower toiletries, ear plugs etc.) and the beds were very comfy.

The lights outside in the hallway were on all night, so some light would come into the capsule. The pillows were very uncomfortable and hard. There was not another place for bags to be stored so you would hear people zipping up their bags at all hours of the night. Nevertheless it was a comfortable stay

The capsule style hotel was very comfortable. The beds were large and private. The bathrooms were very clean and it was handy having a laundry room.

The luggage organisation space can get a bit chaotic. With it in the doorway to the room. But that's not really too much of a problem.

Absolutely perfect location. Right around the corner from the train station, and in walking distance of Akihabara, as well as Senso-ji. Staff are very friendly. The capsules themselves keep out quite a good bit of noise. The mattress is comfy. The bathrooms are big, and have multiple sinks, toilets, and showers. If you're looking for a place to stay as a solo traveller, stay here.

The receptionists are relatively proficient in English, and I even heard that one of them can communicate in Chinese. However, I found the space on the third floor to be a bit crowded; we had to place our luggage right in front of the door, and at times, even had to open it in a way that may have obstructed others from exiting.

There are no lockers for luggage or backpacks. Everyone keeps their luggage on the floor. The lounge area is small not very comfortable.

Most comfortable capsule bed I have slept on. Capsule is new and spacious. They provide free earplugs. Wifi works well in all areas.

Experience depends a lot on other guests. A few guests were inconsiderate and played music or videos in the middle of the night.
