Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong KongThe lift always stops at the reception floor which is not the one you exit the hotel? Not a big thing at all. Also the hotel is connected to a 7-11 so really convenient.
The location is for sure amazing as it is in Ginza. There are supermarkets, pharmacies and all one would need nearby. Not to mention it is close to a metro station. Just walk along Ginza there is a lot to see. Small shops for souvenirs and snacks are available too.

ItalyYou can't get a coffee unless you pay for the breakfast. The only option is the coffee from the amenities that you will have to make in your room
Good position at 10 minutes walk from Ginza Station, a lot of restaurants and shops around, 7/11 inside of the hotel. Luggage delivery with Yamato service .

IsraelThe room design felt off, with no sink in the shower, just one right next to the bed- not comfortable to say the least, the beds are (typically) hard and not comfortable
The location is great, its right next to my favourite coffee in ginza glitch, walking distance to tsukiji market and even tokyo station if youre up for a walk

AustraliaThe AC was quite noisy. It didn’t really affect me too much as I like playing music out loud while I’m in my room, but if you’re sensitive to or get distracted by noise, it is quite loud.
The location is very convenient to both ginza and higashiginza station (also shimbashi). The shower in particular (no black mould or anything like that) but also all the room facilities were very clean. The layout of the room was very good with bed being at the end of the room rather than to the side. Left a lot of space to lay out suitcase and just have open space to move about. Requested a quiet room and besides the odd siren outside, it was exactly that. Couldn’t hear other people in their rooms or anything outside, which I really appreciated.

SingaporeNothing really :)
The room was small yet nicely put together/well thought out. The best rest I’ve had in 3 Japanese cities. Great location with nearby 7-11, Don Quixote, Ginza main strip! You can even walk to the Godzilla statue. Has a currency exchange machine at the lobby too!

Hong KongThe WiFi is weak whole day, even at 5am! (room 819). It’s not acceptable in year 2024!
Good location to tube stations, shops and restaurants. The bathroom, toilet and basin are all separated. It’s more convenient for 2 people.

Second time here but stayed in the smaller room which was a lot smaller. Great amenities and I love the shower room! Would not stay here for the end of trip as I would not be able to lay my suitcases and shopping out! Location is PERFECT, close to the station.

PolandThe room is extremely small. I know it's Japan, but I was in 4 other hotels there and this was way smaller than the rest. It is hard to deal with yourself and baggage at the same time, and I had a little baggage. The toilet is basically in a room, making it even smaller. The ventilation is not great and it's either smelly or cold in the room. Breakfast is so-so. Seemingly a lot to choose from, but in fact the food was not tasty with meat that was inedible. Would not stay again here, there were many other hotels in similar location to choose from.
Quite good location - not very far from train and metro stations, but also not very close. Safe and quiet are in the night.

GermanyThe front desk lady was not nice at all. I guess it's because it was rush hour check in time, however still. Luggages have to be taken by ourselves to the room, which is usually by the hotel personal. The room has few scratches on the wallpaper, and it looked dirty.
The room is bigger than the usual hotel. Bathroom was superb! Amenities are free to take in the front desk floor. Near the Ginza station (13 min on feet away).

United StatesThe room was small as probably expected for Tokyo as we had a small double. No drawers for clothes if you want to empty suitcases beyond a few hangers and tricky to put empty suitcases out of the way. The location was good, though not right at any stations. If you did not order breakfast included, the hotel breakfast was a bit expensive (2450 Yen) or wanted a smaller breakfast, but there were other options for coffee not too far away. Dinners right nearby could be expensive (it is Ginza, after all) but Shimbashi has many choices and there are many choices in the Ginza area if you search.
Location was good between the subway and train stops in Ginza and Shimbashi, though not super close to either, it gave options for trains/subways and a nice walk to the hotel The location was quiet, but right next door to a 7-11 for late night or early morning omusubi cravings or need for ATM. The room was quite small and not much space for hanging clothes, sitting, putting suitcases away, but otherwise fine. The breakfast was a better value if you ate meat or were hungry but a balance between Japanese and Western foods but other options for coffee/breakfast not too far away. Staff was very helpful and there were laundry facilities---but do not overload the dryer as it will take a super long time for things to dry.
