Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandThe room was quite small and the bed was very old. If you have a back problem, need to reconsider.
The location of the hotel is good. Very near ginza area and all the shopping locations.

RomaniaI didn't like the area that much, Ginza is not that good for the Japanese spirit and even if it seems close, you have to walk a little to the station. The room and the toilet could have been more clean, it was a lot of dust everywhere.
I liked that we had more space than usual, we could manage 2 large luggages easily, I liked the slippers and the pyjamas. The staff was helpful too.

Excellent location - Ginza line links up to many spots. Also walkable to Tokyo station. We used public transport and found it really easy. Clean hotel, 7/11 on the ground floor. Free coffee and utensils that travellers may forget to pack. Bath soaps

CanadaI'd appreciate a broader breakfast selection, including options like cereals, eggs, and bacon.
Compact yet cozy room with limited storage. The reception staff is welcoming and supportive, eager to assist with local insights. Exceptional location, encircled by shops, restaurants, and convenient public transportation access. A nearby 7-11 adds convenience, and the lobby is thoughtfully equipped with a variety of toiletries, including shower salts, ensuring you have everything you need at your fingertips.

AustraliaLift was slow and the hotel had a bad smell. Hotel was located in a quiet neighbourhood. Difficult to find and not many attractions nearby. Long walk to public transport.
Bed was reasonably comfortable. Liked the 7/11 on the bottom floor. Staff were friendly. Sink is in the hotel room, and was more than what we had paid to stay in nicer places in other cities and airbnbs.

United StatesElevators are slow and can be congested during peak hours. No gym facilities. Early checkout time of 10 AM, but this is not too bad since you can just pay an hourly late to check out later. No ironing board or steamer available in the room.
The location is exceptional, with the hotel close to everything in Ginza. There is a 24h 7-11 on the ground floor, and a donki store just 2 blocks away. Ginza six and starbucks are also close by. Easy check in and checkout. Policies are clear. Room is very clean and setup perfectly for a single traveler. Shower water pressure is great. AC is responsive and works well.

ItalyThe real minus was the bed, not particularly comfy
The breakfast was very good, mostly Japanese food. The breakfast room is not very big, so be ready to go early or wait. The room is nice and big, the bathroom is big and the 7 eleven at floor 1 is very convenient.

GermanyA bit pricey. Obviously I chose the more luxurious room, so I must take that into consideration, but still found it too steep Everywhere are signs what you have to pay if you do this or that, like losing your key cards (never seen any hotel anywhere charging for that), check out too late etc etc. They might just want to be precise and clear but that is too much in your face for my taste
Spent some nights in Nov 23, double superior, 23 square metres room on highest floor with full glas wall for the view:. Did not have breakfest, so can not say anything about that Beds were super big and super comfy, I have the tendency to develop some back pain after some nights in hotel room beds but nothing here, this was all great High ceiling, nice view and a bit premium look adds to the atmosphere Super clean, everything looked new Staff was helpful and spoke extremly good English (most of them), something which is not common as I experienced on my trip 7-11 mini mart is just next door Neighbourhood is Ginza, so posh and shiny, so restaurants are a bit of on the more expensive side, but not overly bad Subway connections are OK; several lines 500 -600 metres away

South KoreaAlthough it is walking distance to a lot of things, the actual stations were more than 5 min walk away. Like most hotels in tokyo, the room was tiny
Staff were very helpful and accommodating when I had to make a request. The hotel is also in the heart of Ginza, and very clean. Amenities in the lobby were nice since I could take only what I needed - less waste.

United StatesRoom was very small, bed was very small. I wasn't sure how to use the toilet but sometimes the heated seats would leave the toilet area smelling warm and not so fresh. The sink was right next to my bed which I didn't like and also next to all my chargers. The design isn't perfect and the price was a pretty penny. Not sure its worth staying here unless you really love the Ginza area.
The room was very efficient. Had a japanese style bathroom, and seperate toilet which I liked. For the area, it was nice to be in Ginza near all the cool shops. 7/11 was right next door. Bed was comfy, and I liked the PJs they left for me.
