Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsSize of the room is small (which is normal for Japan so not an issue, just something to keep in mind) so we had to get a bit creative with storing our luggage (our big case had to go in the rest room)! And whilst the location was good for onward travel the area didn't offer too much to do for us personally however I think for families or those interested in the shops of Ginza its perfect!
Friendly staff, complimentary amenities and very clean rooms, the room also felt very comfortable the perfect place to chill out after a day of site seeing! The location is great for onward travel in Tokyo being near 3 different Subway Stations (Ginza, Ginza Higashi and Shimbashi) and the hotel is also within walking distance from Tokyo station and the famous Tsukiji market. The hotel is also right above a 7/11 which is very handy and also close by to some restaurants and bars!

NorwayThe rooms were a bit small. Some of the smaller rooms for 2 people are a bit too small for 2 people. Small beds.
Good location in Ginza. Not far from Shinbashi station. Nice and clean hotel. 7/11 is next to the hotel. Quiet area yet not far from the busy areas. Easy to get to the busy areas of Tokyo.

GermanyBreakfast space.
I stayed almost 2 weeks and went only 3 times to breakfast. The smell was too strong and the options more like a dinner rather than a breakfast. The take-away option was also unclear to me, I didnt get anything from that one. I think 7/11 downstairs is a better option.

AustraliaThe rooms are really small and does not look like the pictures you see. It was really annoying that the lift always stopped on the 2nd floor (lobby) - unsure why that is designed in that way.
Good location close to a couple of train stations (7-10 minute walk) and the hotel itself is clean and connected to a 7-11

AustraliaThe room was very small, which was fine for us, as we were only staying for one night, but it would have been tricky to stay longer than that in such a small space.
Very convenient location, close to Ginza station and plenty of shops and restaurants. There is also a convenience store at the bottom of the hotel, which is very handy. The room was very neat and clean, and the bed was comfortable.

United StatesNothing. As mentioned it’s not close to anything in particular but that’s ok if you’re ok walking a few minutes.
Affordable room in Ginza, it’s conveniently located next to a 7/11 and within 5-10 minutes walking distance of the metro and bus lines. Room is well set up at a good price and comfortable.

United KingdomThe bathroom was split into the sink in the bedroom, the toilet in one room and the shower/bath in another. The thing I liked the least was the sink in the bedroom. It was not visible from the picture on booking.com or mentioned in the room description.
The location is great, the staff was excellent. The room was clean.

TaiwanVery clean and cozy hotel. Bath room is big compared with other hotels in Tokyo, especially in the luxury area like Ginza. The bed amenity is really comfortable and surprising huge. Overall, very satisfied!

LithuaniaThe downside is more about booking than the hotel itself but we reserved a very small room and i didn’t realized it was so small so a bit sad for that. I would have reserved a bigger room had i seen that clearly. Other point about breakfest - as much as i liked it for 3-4 days - after that i would be bored of it because there’s not a lot of changes in the dishes (few changes every day). I would really recommend the hotel to make more drastic changes every day - like change 50% of the menu - and rotate menus every 2 weeks. So if you stay 5 days you never eat the same thing. We had 2 reservations and i ended up canceling one because of the breakfast, i wanted to experience more variety of japanese breakfast - which is something wow !
The location of the hotel is 10/10 right in ginza, probably in one of the best locations in tokyo. Breakfast was a japansese breakfast, huge amounts of things to eat, and very delicious. First day we had breakfast we didn’t eat lunch because we were so full…
