Our room was double room and we got two beds that were jointly combined. So there were gaps, and it was so uncomfortable. But other than that, hotel is awesome

Great location, very close to fish market and shopping mall, subway station etc. can walk to Gion in 20 mins. Rooms were big for Japan and very clean. Hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable would definitely stay again

The air conditioning wasn’t very stable, and it kinda stop working in the middle of the night. I called the reception and they were able to manually set it to my preferred temperature. The location is ok, but it is not super close to the metro station and the central area. I ended up taking a few taxis to avoid walking 15/20 minutes.

The room (deluxe twin) was amazing and very new / clean. The women’s bath was very nice! Also I really appreciated the amenities in the room and downstairs, especially the matcha set :) I got the room through a promotion, so it was good value for money in my case.

Breakfast were quite poor, however, we came last minute which might be the reason. Onsen is very small.

Nice and quite specious rooms compared with what you get in other hotels. Friendly staff. Good location - not in the middle of action but still relatively close to all shopping/eating streets or metro stops. Nice that they sell tattoo cover patch at the reception so you can enjoy onsen even if you have small tattoos.

The coffee is not good and quite expensive. There is no gym or pool. Small rooms, and basic bathrooms, but they're fine. I know what I'm getting, I've been many times ... There's no car park and I usually have a rental ...

I've stayed here many times, and reviewed it many times. It's a great hotel for a reasonable price. I like the style, the location, the bath and the lobby. I also like the restaurant, although the coffee is not the best ... the rooms are small, but enough for me.

Staff is very cordial but communication wasn’t super easy… most times they don’t understand English. I was also disappointed because they didn’t accept to give me a receipt and told to get with booking.com …

The hotel was very close to almost every tourists attraction we wanted to see. The room was huge as for Japanese standards and very comfortable. Staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We asked them, before our arrival, to prepare some set up in the room, as it was our honeymoon stay, and they checked us in to the room in the top floor as well as they arranged a cute welcome settlement. We are very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back.

Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss depending on the time of day. It didn’t bother me much, though, as I didn’t need it for work or anything like that.

Really comfy room with a massive bed. The public bath is very nice, too. Great location for walking into more touristy areas and two metro stations are a short walk away, too. The staff was very friendly and the place was spotless.

the room was relatively small (15sqm) and it was a 10mins walk into the city centre

The hotel was rather quiet and a really nice place. I liked the Onsen on the first floor which I visited every evening :)

The stuff spoke rather poor English. The onsen for women was very crowded most of the time in the afternoon and evening, while the part for men mostly vacant. Anyway, finally managed to get there before 6am :)

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Close to Teramachi Compasso with Nishiki Market, Manga Museum, underground, Kamo river, Pontocho and the Old Town. Very quiet area, 7 eleven just behind the corner. Great very diversified breakfasts, nice restaurant menu. The room was rather small but big enough. The design is very inviting with beautiful area in front, the restaurant and the lobby with a small infinity pool and some plants. All atmodpheric and cosy.
