Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong KongNo issues with the hotel
Style. Brutalist concrete block, once a bank building, now an industrial chic Scandi Japanese hotel, transformed by Stockholm based Claesson Koivisto Rune Setting. Previously a bank building, next door to the Tokyo stock exchange. Great vibe Explore. Tokyo Rooms. I arrived so late the bar downstairs closed but the mini bar had a good selection of alcohol, sitting right underneath a bunch of books and a vinyl record player. The immaculate room faced the Tokyo Stock Exchange, with beautiful plants including a thriving gigantic monstera plant in one corner Food & drinks. Lots of options from Caveman restaurant, to Brooklyn Brewery, Ao bar and Switch coffee Prices. Moderate US$366

AustraliaA tiny bit more space for toiletries in the bathroom, but it is Tokyo and this is not a complaint. It was a beautiful bathroom!
The room was beautiful, very comfortable and well appointed. Dinner at Caveman was exceptionally good and breakfast was great too. The bar was convenient for a late nightcap with an excellent array of cocktails to enjoy.

United KingdomThe location maybe wasn't the best for a first time visitor to Tokyo, but it wasn't a problem. The lighting sometimes was confusing in the room.
We loved the vibe and the aesthetic of the hotel. The staff were excellent, very helpful with everything and made extra effort on all fronts. The hotel was a great mix of traditional Japanese aesthetic and western.

MexicoI would suggest the hotel to extend the breakfast time to 10.00 or 11.00 morning.
I liked the design of the hotel. Clean and beautiful. The room is large and you can connect to speakers to play your own music or listen to the vinyl in the room. very nice staff who work at the hotel. I was very pleased that they gave me a small compliment on my birthday.

AustraliaBathroom is quite compact compared with the overall size of the hotel room. Would have liked more places to put things, like a luggage holder that is bigger than the tiny suitcases.
Loved the location and the sheer size of the room. And the size and comfort of the bed. Also the staff were super friendly and very helpful.

United Kingdom- location wise it is quiet in that you have to go on a longer stroll to find places to eat. I personally didn’t go out late as too tired with all the daily walking.. so it was fine with me, but if important to some, it’s something to bear in mind
- the staff was very attentive and lovely. Fully fluent in English - room was great, stylish, and so many little detail that make you feel home - great shower, lighting, bedding. Bed and pillows were super comfortable (not too hard/soft) - they make great coffee downstairs - they recommend a little bakery nearby which has very nice pastries - very close to the metro - quiet location Would definitely come back next time I come to Tokyo.

CanadaThe bathroom is beautiful and compliments the room perfectly however the shower was disappointing. The water pressure was mediocre and the wall that separates it from the bathroom is too small and water splashes everywhere. I would definitely upgrade to a room with a bathtub next time. This minor issue would not deter us from returning to this hotel.
We stayed at Hotel K5 for 6 nights. We found the location perfect for a longer stay as the hotel is situated in Nihombashi Kabutocho, a quieter neighbourhood in Tokyo that remains close to metro stations, convenience stores and restaurants. The staff was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, the level of care and attention that we received from everyone was beyond what we ever experienced in any hotel. The property is beautiful. The design is modern and fresh. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at Caveman (their restaurant on the main floor) and cannot recommend it enough. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The coffee at Switch coffee is excellent. They also have a beer hall in their basement level that seems really interesting but we didn’t get a chance to go.

United KingdomOnly a tiny thing, but there aren’t blackout curtains in the room, so not perfect if you would prefer that.
Very well designed and comfortable hotel. Very homely with the vinyl player in the room. Great bar in the basement and cocktail bar. Helpful and friendly staff. Almost entirely free mini bar in the room! We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.
