Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandWe booked this hotel almost 6 months before our trip for a very good price. Location is central and facilities are great for the price that we paid. Hotel keeps luggage until you return to Tokyo (which is probably the case for most of travellers who visit multiple cities and fly back to home from Tokyo.) so you don’t need to carry your bigger suitcases all around Japan.

United KingdomThe dirtiest hotel I ever staid in. The rooms had thick layers of dust that was not cleaned. The carpets were not vacuumed, instead they use a sticky tape roller. Stains everywhere. Horrible smells in bathroom. Truly disgusting in terms of cleanliness.
The location is fantastic. Internet in the room is good if using an Ethernet cable

United StatesRoom was a little small with 2 people and 2 large luggages but it was manageable.
Great location! Very close to many train stations, making it easy to get to, especially when carrying luggage. Great amenity station on the lobby floor. I would definitely stay here again.

ThailandIt's too hard not to scratch any wall while opening or closing the luggages due to too small room space. Not suitable for long stay. The bed was too stiff to be comfortable and there's no blackout curtain so it was hard for me to get to sleep because of the sunlight and street lights (which is the worst part).
The location is near several train stations. The staffs can speak English and their services are decent. You can consider this budget hotel if you want to stay around Ginza and use most of time outside the hotel.

NetherlandsTitle: Disappointing Stay at a Neglected Hotel Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Review: My recent stay at this hotel was profoundly disappointing, primarily due to its lack of cleanliness and poor customer service. The room was in a deplorable state with visible mold and an accumulation of dust that suggested it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in months. The neglected windows and under-bed area only added to the feeling of an unhygienic environment. Furthermore, the hotel's ventilation system was ineffective, which did nothing to alleviate the stuffiness of a dirty room. To make matters worse, the majority of the staff were not only rude but also unable to communicate in English, which complicated even the simplest interactions. Although one employee did attempt to assist us, he was regrettably restricted by rigid hotel policies. It was evident that the focus of this establishment is not on guest satisfaction but rather on maximizing profits with minimal effort—characterized by an outrageous extra charge of 500 yen for taxi bookings, purportedly to cover the cost of the phone call. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers seeking a pleasant and welcoming stay.

AustraliaThe room is extremely small compared to other hotel in Tokyo. I don't think I will stay here again as with the same money, you have so much other options in Tokyo.
Close to family mart and you can buy breakfast easily. The room size with three beds is almost tripled compared with the standard room.
