Modern facilities, spotlessly clean and large comfortable bed. Good location. Easy check in/check out.

The bedsheets, pillows and other beddings were not replenished or replaces before my stay. the pillows and bedsheet were used for the previous guests so they were smelling with sweat and saliva on the pillows. The next day I asked the cleaner and the receptionist to replace the beddings. It was still not done despite their promise they will attend to the matter. Only after I caused a stir and blew a tantrum did the Manager himself replaced the beddings.

The location was convenient.

The area was fantastic, loved all the lanes, always something interesting around the corner. Hotel was comfy and felt cosy. Awesome bed. Excellent vegan restaurants around. Train stations everywhere and very easy to navigate.

Bed was pretty uncomfortable and there was no curtains or blinds so at night the room was extremely bright from ambient street light, we didn’t sleep well at this accomodation.

Clean rooms with everything you need and decent amount of space for big bags. Location suited us well, walking distance to main areas for shopping, food and bars.

It's a very nice hotel with good interior design, very clean, and walking distance to tourist spots. Also walking distance to cafes like Starbucks and Tully's and Japanese restos. It has a beautiful wine bar at the ground floor where you can relax. I like that the room also has a spray to refresh clothes and the smell of the room.

The location was great, very good connected to main shrines and to the "old" city. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and kind. I 100% recommend this regarding price-quality

I think the staff could brush up on their English since every guest I saw in the hotel was a foreigner. I found communicating with the staff challenging. They are all very kind, though.

I loved this hotel. The location was perfect, walking distance from everything to see in Gion. The room had everything a tourist found possibly need. Highly recommended.

For people with a allergie for dust have a hard time here the ventilators was covered with dust and most random stuff has lot of dust.

Bed was a little hard and could only get one extra pillow but that is my only minor complaint.

Now view from windows as they are made from opaque glass. But it didn’t bother me very much.

Well equipped room, with comfortable bed, brand new facilities, traditionally styled doors and windows. I liked showroom with bath, bathrobe, facial care cosmetic set, coffee and tea set, additional towels and pillows. That’s how hospitality looks like!

Had a very nice stay! The location is really a 10/10 right within walking distance to the temples. Also very nice that you can have your laundry done at the hotel. We will definitely return

the room was so small and VERY dusty causing a reaction to my face. initially i thought the air purifier in the room was just a cute addition, turns out it NEEDS to be there because that small room was insanely dusty and not clean. i sat down in front of the body length mirror and it might have caused the dust and bacteria from the carpet to go everywhere or something – because suddenly my entire face reacted and there were like bumps all over my skin? it was on a really important day too, and it was sadly ruined. they also never clean your bed, i understand if they do not change the sheets, but god they do not even tidy it up. they just leave it a mess as it is. there is also so little surface space, i struggled to have a space to place my items.

good location very close to gion, easy to wake up early and explore the popular spots before it gets crowded at 9 am. close to stations, everything a walk away.

The room we first booked was way too small, OK for a sleep and then to leave, but we were staying 4 nights. Even the upgraded room was small, we had to move one of our suitcases onto the bed during the day, then onto a small table at night.

The location was excellent, this is why we booked this hotel, The room was OK after we upgraded it, which of course meant paying more.
