Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe pillow and bed were not for me. The bed is super firm. The pillow is super firm and has beads on one side. I'm guessing it's a Japanese thing, not for me.
Very friendly staff, great location, good value, and the room was cozy. The tatami mat area was a really nice touch. Also, the website says the staff speaks Japanese and Chinese, but everyone I interacted with spoke English really well too.

ThailandCleanliness: - Everything about the room is clean and good however, our room had a few dodgy redbrown stains on the carpet and on the walls. We didn’t tell the hotel about it which is our fault on our end but if you do, just tell the staff as they are very accomodating! Location: - The location of the station nearest to hotel is good, Uguisudani for JR trains and Minowa for the other train line is good as it’s close to UENO interchange. However, the hotel is a far walk from the JR Station. so if you have luggage, or elderly, be prepared to walk q a by around 10-15 mins from jr and 10 mins from Minowa. If you’re coming from uguisudani station, the area around it used to be a red light district so at night you might see some love hotels near the station but other than that it’s all good and quiet neighbourhood to be in.
VALUE FOR MONEY!!! - we bought the family room and it was well worth the money. - the room has 2 single beds, and an area for futon beds as well. - there is a fridge, kettle, washing machine with dryer function, toilet, shower area, sink area and traditional japanese living area - i think it would be very try hard to find a room with these amenities and space for the price we paid in tokyo! Staff: - Staff are very friendly and warm. Aircon: - The aircon works perfectly in winter with the heater function so we felt warm all night! Instructions folder: - Every room is equipped with an instructions folder on how to use the aircon, washing machine etc in the room and it was super easy to use the amenities provided Point to note: This is a serviced apartment more than a hotel. The staff will not clean your room or change sheets or towels unless you stay more than a week. If you stay less than a week, you can have a change of towels but only if you request from them. The room comes with a dustbin but we must separate the recyclables ourselves and bring down the rubbish to the counter everyday so that the staff can clear your room.

MalaysiaIf you are planning to use JR Pass only, then it's about 1.2km walk to the nearest JR Station. But if you are fine with taking the Metro, then it's all good.
It comes with a washing machine and it's good for a group/family stay for a few days. Size is good

EstoniaI found it quite uncomfortable that it was hard to contact the front desk. Most of the times noone was there and I had to call on the number given there. There was no reaction to our notice that washing machine was leaking quite a lot. Vacuum cleaner was not available. The room was far from quiet since there was a kindergarten under our window and from early hours they had outside time that included constant screaming and crying that made it impossible to sleep in the morning.
We loved the location, near to the station and we loved taking walks to the Skytree/Asakusa and two convenience stores nearby. The room was nice and clean.

Only about 5 minutes walk from Minowa Station on Hibiya Line, to name a few, Akihabara, Ueno, Tsukiji and Ginza stations are on this line, which make travelling easy. There is a local supermarket on the way back from Minowa Station, an AEON convenience store opposite and a 7-11 just stone throw away. Bus T-08 from Tashita SamChome bus stop (4 minutes walk) brings us straight to Asakusa and Tokyo Sky Tree in less than 30 minutes. Spacious room for my family of 3. The young gentleman at the front desk is a cheerful and helpful guy, and he tried his best to answer our queries and help us with our requests.

Austriawhat I found quite odd was that guests have to take out their own trash and sort it themselves. at least, the hotel should provide separate bins in the rooms to make sorting the trash easier. it is a hotel, not an apartment…
the hotel is very close to Minowa station and everything was very clean.

United StatesThe building is near streets and somewhere that is close to kids? Literally every morning it’s so loud, it sounds like the window is wide open (when it’s not) and there’s active construction going on outside or something! There’s also the sounds of kids all morning long. There’s also sirens going up and down the street multiple times a day. It’s hard to get rest there.
There’s a washing machine in unit, however, the dryer is downstairs in front of the front desk! Only 2 dryers which was fine because nobody seemed to be using them when we were.

AustraliaIt is a good location; the room is clean, there are washing machine hangers in the room, and it has enough space for a family. Close to the MRT station, within 5 minutes' walking. A big supermarket is between the hotel and the station, and a pharmacy is in the back of the hotel, a 5-minute walk.

There's even a washing machine in the room. The room is spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of 5. Would definitely stay here again!
