Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PanamaVery nice staff, i liked the decoration, all looked brand new. I disliked the room size, i know that japan room sizes are small but the room that i booked said it was 16sqm but i think it was more like a 12sqm room,, there was a big bed of around 4sqm, a small desk of 1sqm, a bathroom of 2sqm and a small space to walk and open your suit case. Toilet was pretty small, if you are a big man, toilet will be very small for your parts. I saw the emergency exit sign and there was a drawing of all rooms sizes, if its accurate, my room was the biggest.

AustraliaAlthough the bed was huge, we realised it was two mattresses pushed together so there was a bit of a gap. The mattress was also quite hard which we found pretty common throughout all our stays. An extra pillow each would have been nice as well!
Convenient location, especially for getting to the airport with all our luggage on the train! The room was relatively spacious, the bed was huge! I liked that coffee was available on the top floor and a nice little chill area.

AustraliaPerhaps the lighting in the room is too dim. Need more lighting or brighter light.
My husband and I stay for 7 nights in LOF Hotel. Although the room is a bit small especially with our 2 big luggages but we managed ok. Shower is good, laundry and tea room upstairs are very good too. The hotel is within walking distance to everywhere and lots of restaurants around too. The staffs are excellent, they are always very helpful and very friendly. We really love our staying there.

United Arab EmiratesThere are not many facilities nearby if you don't like walking to stations, there won't be any closer less than 10 min walk. The biggest one is Shimbashi station which is 10 min away by walking.
The staff were nice and helpful. When we left the place they let us keep the luggage safe with them since we asked if they could do it. Our flight was at night and the check-out at 11 am. The rooms were clean kinda small like other japanese hotels that I stayed in. The toilet was clean and the shower had a curtain. The security was nice. To enter the hotel you need to use the hotel card and to go to your floor using the elevator you have to scan your hotel card then click on your floor.

SingaporeRoom was very dark. More lighting would be helpful.
They have a common room where you can get free coffee and tea to go along with your own meal. This is an excellent service considering that hotel rooms are very small in Tokyo. We asked for a late check-out as our flight was only at 6pm and they accommodated us with just JPY1000 payment for checking out at 1pm. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and hotel was convenient located to several different metro lines, including the new Toramon Hills station area.

United StatesAfter reading the mixed reviews on location convenience, I now understand why. It is really close to a subway station (Onarimon starion) but we only used that like once. The main transportation hub to a lot of places and more connecting transit lines is Shimbashi station, which is about 15min walk. Not a difficult walk, but gets tiring after a several full days of activities and walking. The bathroom of economy twin room is pretty tiny, knees almost touch the wall you’re facing when using the toilet, shower was easier to use when you’re sideways. Overall just takes a little adjusting but manageable.
Clean, quiet neighborhood, accommodating staff, coffee and lobby area on 12th floor, super fast elevators (except around check out times when everyone’s trying to use it), comfortable bed, thoughtful supplies and toiletries available for you to take by the front desk.

CanadaUnfortunately there was construction next door which woke us up daily at 8am.
It was relatively convenient, lots of restaurants/alleys about 10 minutes away and multiple metro or JR line easily accessible. Rooms were larger than I expected for a Japanese hotel. The PIN code for laundry was also nice. Roof top has a nice view of the Tokyo Tower.
