Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This hotel was perfect for me and my three adult children. The suite was spacious and the washer/dryer came in handy. Plus the location was perfect, close to shops, food, and train station.

Room price is considered steep.
Friendly front counter. There is a good cafe within the hotel. Clean room and spacious. In a quiet area of Nihombashi. Has some free arts and craft activities for kids and sake tasting.

This is our favorite hotel in Tokyo and we will definitely stay here again. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds and it was nice to have a washer/dryer in the room. The staff is so kind, very helpful and made us feel welcome! The location is perfect. A very short walk to Ningyocho station, and plenty of wonderful restaurants within walking distance and a Family Mart next door. Thank you to the hotel staff for making our stay so special.

This is a first-class operation. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Our room was spotless and well-equipped. The floor plan was ideal for our family of six. There was plenty of privacy with two separate sleeping areas and two bathrooms. We also enjoyed the spacious kitchen and eating area. I highly recommend Mimaru Suites for your stay in Tokyo.

The pillows are a bit uncomfortable. Some are too soft and thin, some are too hard. And if there were a night stand in the main bedroom that would be wonderful.

The suites are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, making them perfect for our family of 5 The kitchenette was a great addition, allowing us to prepare breakfast, The location is good—centrally situated in Nihombashi, with easy access to multiple train stations, making it convenient to explore Tokyo. The coffee shop at the second floor is excellent

The mattresses were a little too hard, but other than that, I slept well.

This was a great place to stay for our family of six. Everyone at the front desk spoke English very well and were very helpful with anything that we needed. The location was a plus with lots to do in walking distance and easy access to public transit to get around the city. There is also a Family Mart just down the street that has almost anything you need.

Great room. Heaps of space compared to most Tōkyō accommodation. Convenience store right next door and walk to train station in under 5mins. In room laundry facilities were a bonus as was onsite coffee shop.

The washing machine was very loud, there was no soundproofing for it or anything. Other than that I’d stay there again.
Great location, really close to a subway stop. Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, really comfortable and plenty of space. The staff are really friendly & helpful.

The hotel made a very comfortable base for a family of 5 during a recent trip to Tokyo. There was plenty of space and the kitchenette was very handy. The location was very convenient for exploring the City and the local neighbourhood had some great restaurants

The beds were a bit small. The washing machine had a lot of fur stuck in from previous usage
Clean and close to train stations. Family mart next to it. Coffee on second floor made it convenient. Washing machine in room was another bonus
