Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesLocation: Ikebukuro ended up being a very good choice, just one ride to all centric locations and the district itself has endless options. The room: This is definitely perfect for a family stay. Spacious, the kitchen has everything you need. The hotel also provided toaster (subject to availability) And very clean. Facilities: The laundromat was very useful, I know I’m asking too much but a gym would be amazing:) Staff: They were helpful everytime we had a question. And they all speak English very well.

MalaysiaLove the room, fresh sheet, clean toilet, functional kitchen and a common area for gathering. However it’s quite distance to train station. And the journey between train station and our room pass through “entertainment area”, a bit uncomfortable with young children. Otherwise all is good!

MalaysiaGood to allow family together and well equipped . But the overall size is smaller than pictures suggested. Lack of normal power point in one bedroom is problematic.. lobby small and crowded lobby toilet could be cleaner. Good for family but maybe not so value for money

MalaysiaIt was a pleasant stay and staff were all very helpful. However for the price paid, daily housekeeping to make the beds and vacuum would be appreciated. Also you might want to add a side table in the bedroom.

CanadaNot alot of free space for luggage. It was JUST enough.
Love the showers and bathrooms at this hotel - clean bathrooms with strong water pressure! The two bedroom suite has two bathrooms which helps alot with bigger groups! We were two families of 4, with 4 young kids/toddlers and this place worked out great! Kids loved to have breakfast daily on the couch together! Asked for a crib for my infant and he was able to stand and practice his legs in there as there was no crawling space other than the bed.

SingaporeLocation is okay. A good aspect is that it's in a fairly quiet area about 10 mins walk to the station. It's on the western side - I think most travellers would prefer the east side where there are more large shops and easier access to sunshine city and animate. But we didn't mind it, I think this property is generally nicer than the ones on the eastern side at comparable prices.
Staff were really helpful and nice. English communication was very good. Facilities like the washing machine and guest lounge were very appreciated, while little touches like free umbrellas, goodies, and luggage delivery were very useful.

United KingdomNone, i enjoy every single bits and corners of this place.
I stayed in a room for 5-6 people. I got a room that has 2 bedrooms and a living space. The location, the room, the facilities..all are to exceptional standard. Nothing beats Japan standard on service.

PortugalStaff were very friendly and helpful. The room was exactly as described and looked like the pictures Great tub and water pressure for shower. The in house washers and dryers were great as well - they have auto added soap and normally I can't do those because of smell sensitivity but this soap was unscented and didn't bother me.

BruneiToo far from other main areas of attraction eg Ginza.
Excellent location close to lots of food and shopping options within the area. One stop from Shinjuku. Great for kids because of the bunk bed configuration so there was plenty of room for four (2 adults 2 children).

MIMARU Ikebukuro is a fantastic option for families! It’s an easy 8-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station – just make sure to exit from the west side. Convenience is key here, with a Family Mart just 1 minute away and a 7-Eleven 3 minutes away. A highlight for us was a nearby bento shop called Kitchen Origin. The food was amazing, with delicious takeaway bento boxes starting at around AU$5. Our kids loved it so much that we ate from there almost every day. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment, which was perfect for a family with young children. It came equipped with a washing machine (a huge plus!), a microwave, fridge, and electric stove, so cooking meals in the apartment was easy if you wanted to. The second bathroom even had a bathtub, which was great for the little ones. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful and convenient stay!
