Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaLocker area is a bit tight. There’s no place for guests to open suitcase without interrupting others.
I like the capsule bunk bed with curtain so it feels like an individual (uninterrupted) space I have in a big shared space. I also enjoy the convenient location and the cute rooftop to see Tokyo Tower directly. It’s very thoughtful for 9 hours to provide pajamas and slippers in addition to towels and toothbrush.

JapanI didn't like the set up of the bed and lockers. The lockers were located on the 3rd floor. Some of the capsules were on the 3rd floor and other floors so if you need anything and you're staying on another floor you have to go back and forth. Large suitcases don't fit in the lockers so they have to be left at the reception. The one lady at the reception doesn't seem very approachable. She snorted when I said that I have to check the instructions before going upstairs because I might have a question. Maybe, she did that because she'll have to answer my questions or she thought I'm fussy, but I find it rude to snort like that when a costumer says they might have a question.
The hotel is close to the station so it's easy to go anywhere. The capsules were clean and they give you fresh towels and pajamas every day. I wasn't sure tho if even the sheets were changed when I came back at night. The bed and the pillow were comfortable.

AustraliaThe lounge area was smaller than I thought it would be and there were no lounge chairs which I think would improve the ambiance if provided. Had to pay for the water / snacks at the reception area - a vending machine would have been handy on other floors.
The capsules were very clean and tidy and quite comfortable. I enjoyed the view from the 10th floor lounge area of Tokyo Tower and how close this was to Hamamatsucho JR station and subway line stations.

RomaniaFor a one night stay is ok, but you constantly need to use the elevator if you want to reach your luggage, the showers, the common eating area. The price is also pretty high.

SingaporeThere was not enough space in the lockers to repack your bags - if there was more room here I would have given an higher rating. Also the lifts took a long time
The pod was actually very comfortable and much bigger than I expected. The facilities were clean and it was helpful having the bad with PJs / slippers etc.

SingaporeThe locker is really too small! Others just left their luggage at the public space as the locker really don’t fit the luggages. I prefer their Nagoya branch which has big enough locker provided. I also prefer the locker and shower at the same floor, it would be much more convenient.
The view at 10th floor is really nice! I had been staying their other branch and I really appreciate the design of separating capsule and locker area.

United StatesThe breakfast service was offsite at Tully's Coffee which didn't open until after I had to catch my train out of town. The lockers were barely secured with a latch and particle board that could be opened with barely any force. No counter space in the locker and shower area for dressing and re-packing luggage. Other guests talking on their phones in the sleeping area was a real drag.
9H was very close to Hamamatsucho Station. I was pretty comfortable for my first time sleeping in a capsule. Showers were hot with plenty of soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

PortugalThere's no way to lock your "room", so I understand people who don't feel comfortable with that. Some of the staff's ability to communicate in English was pratically nonexistent. Some of the other guests would make a bit of noise during day time, not respecting the possibility someone could be sleeping during that time.
The capsule was quite spacious so I actually felt quite comfortable inside it. The showers were very clean and the water was hot. The staff provided new towels every day which was quite nice for my prolonged stay. In many regards, the stay was good value for what I paid, and it exceeded my expectations.
