Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandMaybe a bit to expensive, if you are two people and you share the cost a hotel room would be almost the same price, but still a nice experience that I would recommend.
A very nice and unique experience.

AustraliaNo soap in the toilets. Many people had left luggage in the locker room (in the middle and in front of other's lockers) despite multilingual signs asking you not to do so. It would be great to add a specific place to open your suitcase so that people are not doing this on the floor.
Very quiet in the capsule area. Easy to check in and check out. Nightwear and towels are provided in a carry bag in your locker so you can easily take this to and from the shower room (different floor). Great view of the Tokyo Tower from the 10F lounge. Easy walk to the nearby subway / train stations.

New ZealandCapsules were extremely basic (no TV, alarm, no AC controls etc). No free drinking water on site. Other capsule hotels offer a lot of free amenities at no extra charge etc tea/coffee and even food as part of the package. Only shower facilities on site. No bath etc.
Stylish hotel . . but at the cost of comfort and amenities. Feels like it was made for the Instagram crowd who are after flashy photos.

AustraliaShower room was not too dirty but not clean. Staffs seemed they’re busy with their business and didn’t care about guests.
Comes with pajamas, towels, slippers and toothbrush in a carry bag. Linen was clean and the dorm room was quiet. Enough shower booths / toilets so you don’t have to wait. Good location for value.

LithuaniaThe place isn’t the cleanest, shower rooms have mold, corridors, comon spaces and locker rooms are quite dirty even tho they ask you not to use the sleeping spaces and locker rooms between 10 am and 2 pm - not sure what they do at that time, because it really doesn’t seem cleaner afterwards… Toilets don’t have soap, it’s only in the shower rooms which are on the first floor. Common space doesn’t have any kitchen - microwave or a kettle, only chairs and tables. Not well equiped for a longer stay.
Good location.

AustraliaLimited space to reorganise suitcase, people were doing this in the locker area making it difficult to access; the communal lounge area was too silent, some quiet background music would be nice
Super clean and tidy, good provision of overnight essentials, good suitcase sized locker; great view from the top floor lounge and roof terrace

Brazil10am forced checkout even if you are staying multiple nights made it hard to recover after a night out. The meeting area is exceptionally formal; there's zero interactions between guests and not really a lounge area suitable to relax, it's more of a cafeteria/office space.
Very clean, friendly staff and a great location. I was surprised by how comfortable the capsules were. I would definitely stay there again.

LatviaFor ladies the placement of rooms was quite inconvenient - showers were on the 1st floor, lockers on the 3rd floor and sleeping pods on the 9th floor. So I spent most of my timing taking elevator from floor to floor which was sometimes crowded and with long waiting time.
I was very interested to try once in a life the pod-hotel experience. Overall, everything was rather new, clean and unexpectedly quite in the sleeping room. View from the lounge is incredible with accessible rooftop and view to Tokyo Tower. At check-in you are also provided with pajamas, slippers and a bag.

JapanJust one elevator for the 10 floors and all the guests. And everyone has to stop at the second floor, for the lockers and showers.

AustraliaWe must be quiet all the time so I was unable to be relaxed. Air inside of the hotel was warm and dry so we had to constantly drink water to be hydrated. QR codes are really small so the scanner sometimes didnt recoganize them.
The location is excellent, the view of Tokyo Tower from the roof top is a bonus!!
