Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdom- communal space was not big enough - locker rooms are packed with guests suitcase so it was not easy to access some of the lockers - no staircase in the facility so we had to wait a long time for elevators to get to our floor - hand soaps available only on communal bathroom but not on capsules area
The capsule was a decent size and we found it comfortable

JapanI was woken up early in the morning by someone else's alarm in the room, so I couldn't sleep. That was bad.
Near Hamamatsucho station. Very close to any shopping district. You can see Tokyo tower on the roof.

CanadaNo soap on the bathroom. No kitchen or even a kettle to warm up water. At the redemption, staff speak very limited English so I would not ask for suggestions/recommendations. Also, people staying there are not very friendly - I was speaking on the phone and someone in the common area asked me to keep it down 🤯
Well located. Close to the subway station.

CanadaStaff were not very pleasant. Saw this place online, so many people posting how cool it was, so over rated. Floors in the common areas and in the pod rooms were not clean, dust and bits all over and sticky under the low quality slippers. The bathrooms smelled awful and were not very clean. The garbage bins in the common room were completely overflowing. The lockers were too small for most suitcases so there was luggage all over the floor in the locker rooms. Girls showers were on the first floor with many showers but only one toilet which was always busy. Men's floor had shower on the same level. No temperature control in the rooms, pods were freezing cold. Had to sleep in my sweater.
Pods were pretty spacious, good if you are tall! Shower room was pretty clean and lots of sink/mirror space to get ready. PJs were pretty comfy but sizes were not great. The view of Tokyo tower from the common room was beautiful and the rooftop deck was amazing! full 360 views of the city! Short walk to major train station.

United StatesThe staff's lack of friendliness and helpfulness with questions is a concern. There is a significant need for improvement in the cleanliness of the locker and bathroom facilities.
The location is perfect, and the hotel offers good value for money.

New ZealandIt felt bare minimum, there was 1 escalator per gender, lockers were on the 3rd floor and large suitcases don’t fit, bathrooms were on the first floor and sleeping on 3rd abs 6th, commons on the 10th. If you were staying multiple nights you have to check out everyday. There was no common kitchen facilities such as a jug or microwave or water fountain. No soap in the toilet on the sleeping floor.
The pods we’re comfortable and quiet, it was clean and the common room had an awesome view of the Tokyo tower

AustraliaI found the beds to be quite uncomfortable and really hard. Sometimes during the night I would get quite cold. The hallway light in the capsule dorm was a little bright during the night and bled into my capsule making it brighter inside than I would’ve liked to for a sleep.
The location of this property was great! Really close to the train station ls and good food and coffee options. The showers were great! The view of Tokyo tower from level 10 lounge was also a plus.

AustraliaYou can only store your luggage in the lockers and they’re quite small, it’s impossible to fit anything other than small bags. Daily check out at 10am and check in again at 14:00 if you’re staying for 2 nights or more, it’s rlly inconvenient if you just had a late night the day before. Found hair in my capsule that’s clearly not mine. Bathroom area can get messy pretty quick as everyone in the building can only shower on the second floor.
Convenient location, great if you have early flights as it’s located right next to the monorail station. Great view of Tokyo tower from the lounge.

TaiwanThe storage area is cramped and separated from bed and shower floor, which is inconvenient, especially when preparing to shower and to change clothes. Have to sort out the luggage in the storage area without privacy. No laundry, not good if you stay multiple days. The public area at 10F has no microwave oven or kettle for quick food preparation. So do not expect to have a cup of instant noodle there. Only bottled water for purchase at 1F.
Capsule is spacious enough.

AustraliaI was not able to eat the breakfast as I had to leave for my flight before the cafe was open. The shower room was very busy and messy, toilets were poor as well. Room itself did not have temperature adjustment, and had very poor noise insulation. Locker was too small to insert luggage, so everyone just had their luggage lying around. Location was quite far from nearest station, and somewhat hard to find.
The showers themselves were okay. The mattress and blanket in the capsule was serviceable. Staff allowed me in prior to check in time.

AustraliaThe showers on the other floor. I can handle this but there are no stairs to use. If I’m on the second floor and want to go to the first to head out for the day, I have to wait for the lift - and it is slow! The showers are where your lockers are and the room around where the lockers are is tight. It would be nice if there was somewhere to get you stuff ready for the day that isn’t next your locker. Given the chance to stay here again I would certainly think twice.
The location to stores and stations was great. Especially if you get the monorail from the airport. The idea is good and the showers and toilets were always clean and well kept. The view of Tokyo Tower has to be a highlight for this accommodation.

United StatesThis was the worst hotel in a 3 month trip. You can hear EVERY single sound in the pods. The duvet is a weird material that makes noise every time it's touched. And every noise in the bed area just echos. Also,People bring way too much luggage upstairs, so you can never get in and out of your locker without a long wait. The lounge area is dead silent with remote workers. No area to make travel friends and talk.
The only good thing about this place is a hot shower.

HungaryIt was a unique and nice experience for a one night stay in Tokyo. Bed, shower were clean, the stuff were helpful. It was like a dormitory filled with business men & some tourists. The neighborhood was pretty. My advice: use earplugs and keep quiet!
