Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe sleeping area and bathroom/shower are at different stories. That's a little inconvenient.
It's very close to the train station that can take you anywhere. There are also pharmacies, restaurants, and family marts at walking distance. Tokyo Dome is also nearby. Nice view at night in the public area.

Very convenient next to suidobashi station. 15 second walk to 24hr Family mart. Lots of places to eat, although alot didn't speak English for us poor foreigners. Google translate helped. Welcome bag with slippers and returnable pyjamas and towels. Capsule size was great.

JapanIt is a capsule hotel, so a good nights sleep is conditional on who else is staying in the hotel with you. Additionally, it is right next to the train tracks so it can get a little loud which is something to keep in mind. The area is also full of izakayas and other places that are open late, which can be good or bad depending on what kind of stay you are looking for.
The facility is in a great location right next to the station. It was perfect for us as we planned on traveling many places in Tokyo. It had the standard capsule hotel accommodations and was overall pretty clean. The staff were great and are able to communicate in English if needed.

JapanThere is only one elevator for all the floors, so in the mornings before checkout, it can take some time to get to the showers and the check-in floors.
Excellent location right next to JR Ochanomizu station. Clean facilities and capsules roomy enough. Plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel for all you need.

Hong Kong- definitely not recommended for light sleepers, as the hostel is near to a train station, which you can hear quite clearly when the train passes by at night. Also since the sleeping floor is super quiet, it means you can also hear clearly when other guests walks by. But a little noise is fine for me, and the guests are nice and well-mannered - the women bathroom gets busy during the morning and night, need to queue for shower. Suggest you to wake a little early - the hostel asks guests to leave the capsule during 10am-2pm daily for cleaning. Not a problem at all for me though - luggage storage service is only available from 2pm
- clean and cozy - it has everything you need (towel, toothbrush, slippers, hairdryer) - goos value (do not compare it with a hotel, compare it with other capsule hostel and you will agree this is one of the best!) - location (3min walk to train station; 20mins to Shibjuku; 25mins to Shibuya; not the best locatiom but a reasonable distance to famous spots) - REC COFFEE right next to the hostel (excellent coffee, had breakfast there every day during my stay)

United StatesDisclaimer: I’m a light sleeper. We only stayed there for about 4 hours to nap and shower in the afternoon/evening. It was very quiet, which meant you could hear everything. You can hear people walking down the hall, getting in/out of their capsule, openings the door to the floor. If you’re a light sleeper or don’t need a lot of quality sleep, highly recommend. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep there at night, but that’s on me. Highly recommended if you need a space to nap, charge your phone/charger, shower, or freshen up, esp if your hotel isn’t close. Reserved the beds on our way there.
*Did not do an overnight here. Booked solely for mid-day nap and shower. Capsules are spacious and dark (during midday). Showers are clean. Nice common area with view. Had the best 4 hour nap I’ve probably ever had. Comfortable… mattress? Mat?

United KingdomThe air conditioning was switched on all night in the female floor and it was really cold at night. I asked them to change the temperature - they offered me a different capsule, but the next night it was the same. I ended up having a sore muscle pain thoughtout my neck and back because of the air conditioning.

United KingdomNo washing/dryer facilities onsite, nearest one is 10 mins walk away. The lockers are a little cramped if you’re trying to organise your bag and/or get ready to leave before 10am daily check out (as everyone else is getting to leave at the same time).

United StatesCapsule felt a little warm at times, also it got a bit noisy at times as people trickled in late at night, our fault for not asking for earplugs though.
Location was convenient, everything was clean, check in and check out was a breeze. Staff was friendly. Overall for the experience of staying at a capsule hotel it was a good one.

United KingdomAs would be the case with all shared dormitories/hostels, the issue is the noise of the other guests (though most do take care to be quiet). If you are a light sleeper, I would definitely recommend ear plugs, as the snoring can be quite loud. I resorted to listening to white noise from my phone earphones.
This is a brilliant capsule hotel - very well executed in its concept. The facilities and capsules themselves are great - it's very clean and comfortable and it is easy to navigate the different areas. We loved the welcome pack with slippers, pj's and towels.
